Left of field but what about matty johns he has great footy knowledge has worked with Melbourne and basically moulded Cronk to the player he is hes a halves specialist and with sheens being the mentor he can help out when needed

Tigers are after Ciraldo, he rejects. After Bennett, NO. After Flanagan, he is not the sort of person we want at the tigers (until we change our mind too late). We will end up with some cast-off no-one else would consider in a repeat of the Taylor years.

I agree completely. But the "review" commissioned by Chairman Mouth and the Board won't provide for their culpability and incompetence to be called to account.

Ciraldo is definitely my first choice. If he can’t help us with our D then no one can. I can’t imagine however that he would want to come to the Tigers at all.
Don’t really know enough about the English guys to make an educated comment. Woolf sounds like an option but only from what I have read.
I am not at all interested in Flanagan or Green or Morris, and sincerely believe that sacking Madge for any of them would be a terrible mistake.
My true feeling is that if we are going to sack Madge and not replace him with a guy that is at least as highly respected and qualified then we will be going backwards.

I worry that this is true and Ive said a few times here that they should take as long as they need to get it right....but.....if they take too long and then say "yeah MAdge is the man" he is going to be up against it from the start".

Maybe it's just me but might have good ideas but comes across as not sincere .
Don't think he likes our club and we allready have enough players like that.

Looks like the club is after Ciraldo but can't even talk to him til after the Riff are finished for 2021. Meanwhile, our board/administration has said we can't do anything on recruitment til the coaching situation is decided. Something needs to happen very soon if we're to have any hope of recruiting any decent players for next year and beyond and getting our pre season underway.

Sneens as head coach for 2 years. Bring back Payton with Robbie (forwards) and Hodgson (backs) as assistants with potentially Benji as specialty halves coach. Let them develop the juniors and induct them into what it means to play for the WT means. The identity that has gone missing.

Payton has no clue

Nooo, that's not true.

Payton gets some things, but misses others. Payton would be an awesome forwards or defensive coach.
He gets structure (I don't know how, but he gets it). He gets how to work forwards.
He will fail at the Cows because he doesn't get the whole team position thing. Likewise Madge, gets centers gets attack, but does not get defense or what people should be working on.

I am thinking we need 50/50 Wests tigers players and outsiders.
Sironen, Payton or Farah as our defensive coach.
Pat Richards or Hodgson as a playmaker/tricks/attack coach.
We need someone external as the halves/spine coach. We don't get it, we never ever have.

If Cooper Cronk could be bought, for any money up to 1 million I would sign him immediately as head coach.
He gets spine, he gets structure and he gets why little things are done.

Payten should be an assistant coach at Penrith ...if anyone needs to be whiteanted it's Iv ...

You realise he is coaching the Queensland Cowboys with Jonathan Thurston waiting in the wings.
Trent Barrett may mess up the Bulldogs, I suspect he is going to piss off some of the stars and trouble will start.
If the Cows don't make the finals or at least come 9th-10th Payten won't get a second season.

More like a nightmare.I am sure Hodgson coached one of our lower teams and was a disaster(am happy to be corrected).Sheens destroyed our salary cap and it took years to get it back in balance.
