Who's our Captain for 2018 ?

I should have added to my post - I'd like it to be Josh Reynolds but I'll probably be Elijah Taylor.

As I said earlier it'll be Reynolds, Im sure of it. Captain material, inspirational, fighter, wears his heart on his sleeve, never says die attitude that the boys can get motivation from. Being in the halves will be nice too as he will always be in middle of the action for the full 80\. It'll be nice to have a captain after basically not having one for a few years.

Rowdy and ET to be backrow Vice Captains for media duties as they can both string a sentence together and on field captains when Reynolds isn't available. Reynolds will be the face of the Tigers from next year. Hope he cleans up his trips.

I'd seriously consider Reynolds. Name one player who will have more fight and be more inspirational for us in 2018?

I dont like the thought of a player moving to my club and being place as captain just like that, maybe after a year or two.

ET fits the bill for mine.

Who cares, this club needs a leader. And there aren't very many in our current squad.

The way Cleary talk about Packer I think its obvious he will be in the leadership group. Not captain or vice but one of the leaders.

ET and Lawrence Co-Captains.

Brooks, Reynolds, Matulino and Alioai in leadership group.

Yep
We can't just dump Rowdy…
We're trying to build a new culture, just forgetting your current (c) isn't the way to go about this

Sorry to bring up in this thread but I would like to see Brooks successfully lead the attack on the field before installing as captain.

Agree with Ink, Lawrence will be captain, or at least co-captain, it would be a massive slap in the face to take it off him. I think Reynolds would be the other candidate, there'd be no lack of effort if were a co-captain.

It has to be Lawrence doesn't it. It's should be a cultural thing as well. We show respect to players that show us respect.

It's a double edged sword. If they pick Lawrence to be captain they'll have to stand by him. We don't want to be standing down another captain after the Farah fiasco and bleating about Teddy, Woods & Moses jumping ship. Smacks of hypocrisy.

David Nofoaluma..

Agreed, no one loves the Tigers more than Nofa, every time I see him leading the team song I want him given that ©.

But realistically it should be Lawrence, you can't run a team from the wing.
