I just think it's funny how we blame everyone else but ourselves for the negative stuff that is printed and spoken about us in the media.
Back around 2005, we were the darlings of the media. But it's been a slow downward slide from there.
Some of the stuff that comes up about us is either misinterpreted by the media or is just plain wrong, but equally, some of the stuff reported is completely right.
Once we start to operate better( started by getting a quality Coach ) and clean up our own back yard, things will start to turn around as far as the media is concerned
Clubs that are always having some sort of upheaval are always in the news, and mostly negatively.
Similar to referees decisions. It happens to everyone, but ( naturally) we only worry about them when it's happening to us.

It seems there is a disconnect between the ex players reporting and commenting on the events and those of journalists.
Im amazed by the way Crawley, Ritchie, Kent, Ikin and Rothfield view what has happened. They have close to a 180 degree opposite view to us on here. I listen to their explanations and just laugh. The players were not hard done by receiving deadlines. Their procrastinations were costing the club the opportunity to sign alternate players should they have decided to reject the offers. I think its extremely possible that without the deadlines a decision would still be pending on all of them, whilst the pool of talent to chase as replacements continually dwindles.

They'd have milked it through to June had they had their way. Notice the media blow up only happened after the club took the upper hand and started dictating the terms. Their egos took a massive hit.

Ignore the troll fellas

Have you ever wondered Ink, why you classify anyone who doesn't fall into line with your opinion as a Troll.? Seems a bit strange.

I don't want to become embroiled in this, so it's just my observation that you do seem to play the devil's advocate on most topics. Does that make you a troll? Some would say yes.

He just hates the club. Still can't move on from Farah's treatment. Does that make him a troll? Up to the individual i guess.

G!R , you are the one who keeps up the Farah subject, I think you've got a bit of a thing for him!
As for the club. I don't hate them or anybody for that matter, but unlike you, I don't close my eyes to the stupid things that they have done over a long time. I'm just hoping that that will not always be the case

I keep coming back to a simple way of looking at any comment on the Tigers or anything. Is what is being said factual and fair.

Let's be honest Gould and Sterlo have both stated the way Moses has acted is farcical. He has no integrity as a human being. He is just bad news. I put Tedesco and Woods in the same category. These guys are dud human beings.

There is a bunch of stuff being stated that is over the top factually incorrect drama. I see no reason to focus on this stuff. I have no idea how we could blame ourselves for this. It's factually incorrect and completely unfair. If someone crucified you in the media for something that you didn't do would you think they had a point ?

The club stuffed up massively last year. The farah treatment was disgraceful. Get rid of farah to keep the big 4\. The big 4 then got rid of jt. This whole episode will go down as a blight in our history and cannot be denied.

Fast forward to ivan cleary. Gets full control of the footy team. We get held to ransom by the 3 divas and for once in our history we dont give in to player power. So i think you all have correct points. But the future looks bright snd hopefully we keep filling the bus with more decent signings.
