Why Parra will win

Too early to say. Every time I tip the Tigers they lose, every time I tip against them they win so I have NFI!!!

Haha me too! I think I've only correctly selected a tigers game 6 times thus far.

Who would have thought they would be getting within 20 of us. Same for the Dogs, Souths, titans. We are loosing to crap ides.

We should be completing sets, building pressure and winning more than 2 games in a row.

Other clubs love playing the tigers because your always a chance.

Parra will win because we want it less…

Except for Canberra.

Expecting to win 3 years in a row at Parramatta Stadium is a little ambitious I feel. And if we lose here, we are in serious danger of missing the 8 with the draw over the next month. Which would be a terrible underachievment (again). This game is almost do or die.

Me. We have a history of losing to crap sides.

So do parra so it should be a good game.Tigers to win by 6

My prediction, Tigers to lose by 10 and we'll all be on here 5 minutes after the final whistle complaining about the referee interpretations of the rules, that we didn't get at least 5 more penalties than we did, how Lui has nothing to offer and someone not finding touch from a penalty in the 68th minute. Look at our past performances even when we've won, Penrith win: barely got there with some dreadful football, Newcastle win: a field goal in extra time, Warriors win: our opposition lost the plot. Then a dismal display against a horrible Bulldogs. I thought laast week was one of the most important games of the season coming into the bye, alas, I don't think anything is going to change.

Haha we'll demolish the Eels… What's everyone worried about? They're terrible and we've got a lot of players coming back.

With lawrence back and hoepfully lote and utai we should actually get some attack happening in the outside backs.

Tigers by 24+

I agree Kaiser. Our whole three quarter line should be back intact and while it wont be perfect, I think a one or two early tries will break their back and open the gates up.

regardless of how the Tigers are going or whatever issues maybe happening behind the scenes take a look at the opposition, they are a rabble. They have nothing. They're only on when Hayne is on which isn't very often. They couldn't beat a reserve grade Broncos side. The Tigers may be a basketcase atm but Parra don't exactly resemble a perfect picute of health either. If they can't win then yes they are gone and don't deserve to have anything positive said about them for the rest of the yr.Thats how useless Parra are

I just wish Parramatta had won the other night - every loss brings them one step closer to a win.

Also, whilst the inclusion of Lawrence and hopefully Lote would lift the team, I wouldn't be expecting too much from them for a few weeks. I worry about their confidence after suffering such bad injuries.

remember when everyone was so worried the raiders would roll us in canberra after a string of losses?

49-12\. We MURDERED them…

I think Parramatta are in the same frame of mind - backs are broken - Hayne will be disinterested, and Mannah will be fatigued from the Wednesday night game (48 hours after a game you feel the WORST).

Hindmarsh will be too busy yelling at his own troops - sure he'll make 50 tackles, but he'll get tired, and come in late on tackles. Marshall and Farah will exploit their laziness around the ruck.

They just lost Loco their gun young centre - he's GOOOONE.

We've got our backline starting to regain its shape.

the only player that will turn up for them is Luke Burt. But that's because he is their true workhorse, and he can't beat us on his own.

I stand by my prediction from 2 weeks ago - Tigers by 26 - (36 - 10)

All things being equal I'd normally be confident the Tigers will get up. Marshall will be mentally fresh and hungry and 4 quality players back this week, most natably Lawrence. What remains to be seen for me is whether the team will stick together and play with 100% commitment when something like half the starting team won't be at the club next year. I think this game will tell us a lot. Beating the Eels wont be a huge achievement, but losing to an Eels side that is anything less than excellent will tell us the year is gawwwn.

On the other hand, a lot of the 2nd string players are singing for their supper so they might be forced into playing with commitment to try to retain a spot in the team for next year. We need 2 cheap wins starting with Parra with no injuries to get the returning players into some kind of form and t build some confidence before the last 6 or 8 games of the year.

I'll be tipping Tigers (as I always do in hope  ) but if I'm going to be realistic, Parramatta will win this game quite comfortably and the headline the next day will be along the lines of "Eels season back on track". Then the week after, they'll be beaten which would all but end their hopes of making the finals.
