I agree that we need to sign him, but a petition will do bugger all other than let the club know that a whole bunch of armchair critics think he should be there.

They have people there in charge of recruitment who wanted to give him a go, the issue is more sponsor based.

Sorry to kill the speculation. My take on their tweet exchange is he's waiting to hear from a team other then Tigers and Lote was expressing his disappointment in us withdrawing our interest in WM. Interestingly, the tweet was retweeted by Blake Ferguson so maybe….waiting to hear from Raiders?

Hearing he is still a chance to sign this week. Will keep posted

Thanks smoking gun. Off topic, I just have a question for you - do you have any inside info as to why Junior Moors is not given a proper go in first grade? He's a consistently good player, who has never let us down in his very limited time in first grade. Yet he is always the first one dropped when we have a bad game or when someone comes back from injury. I just don't get it, because, with our present lack of forward power, we could really use him right now.

My guess is they want more than 1 signing Montague Street. Mason and 1 other. Maybe Shackleton, Cashmere or Rose. I remember they went for an exception with Mason that didnt work out in our favour. Thats my take on it anyway.

Our CEO said we weren't in talks with mason then 4 days later we have had talks this week, same with lote. Humphreies has a history of lying

Humphrey's doesn't lie Smoking Gun He just doesn't always tell the complete truth Big difference :unamused:

When I read the latest article about the club not wanting to sign Mason again, it kind of reminded me of when a team has a bad run and the CEO say's ' The Coach has our full support of the board and backing' then next week he gets punted. This saga with Mason sounds like 'We are not interested in signing Mason end of story' and the next week we will announce Masons signing.

I guess no Ellis for three months might have the board do a backflip but really what would Mason offer that Junior Moors dosnt??? I think we should have a long term picture for any new recruits, no hope and pray short term fixes

Ok smoking gun, by your non-response to my question, I assume you have no idea then?
