Hearing he is still a chance to sign this week. Will keep posted

Thanks smoking gun. Off topic, I just have a question for you - do you have any inside info as to why Junior Moors is not given a proper go in first grade? He's a consistently good player, who has never let us down in his very limited time in first grade. Yet he is always the first one dropped when we have a bad game or when someone comes back from injury. I just don't get it, because, with our present lack of forward power, we could really use him right now.

Ok smoking gun, by your non-response to my question, I assume you have no idea then?

I have an answer to your question.

He is not a first grade player. How's that.

He plays a lot better than Groat, Col

LOL
flippedy, the Smoker dosent know ,thats why you havent got your answer.
Col is close to the mark .Junior Moors was going to be the next big thing at Penrith but copped a lot of injuries early in his career but hasnt got back to the form he displayed when an up and comer .
He probably would be a better option than Groat , but Sheensie will stick with his stubborness on Groat.

Fair enough guys, but I reckon he has shown enough, in his short stints with us this year, to be given more of a chance. If he was given more than 15 minutes game time once every month, he might actually start to reach that potential.

Not a first grader? Based on what, the 13 games he's played for us and only one of which he's started? He's probably been lucky to see 300-400 minutes on the pitch for WT so without any regular appearances or opportunities how is he supposed to prove that he is first grade material. Even with a good display, he's readily discarded for the clique players.

This is the same reasoning people use to downplay Jacob Miller. That kid is a talent, but without any time or opportunity he's never going to be able to prove himself.

He should. In every game he's played so far this yr, you would struggle to find a forward who has out-played him, with the exception of BMM. He isn't in Sheens' clique, thats why he isn't a regular like he should be

Not sure where you're going with this… You said Moors isn't a first grader and I disagreed for aforementioned reasons... You're not going to know if someone is a first grader or not when they're continually shafted despite promising showings in State Cup and being overlooked after one or two matches off the bench.

this club should have signed mason weeks ago , poor judgement by sponsors , fans who called the club to say no , and a week board have let the team down , mason signed would have put players on notice to aim up , but this club always seems to let a great deal go , ask me why , i cant answer it , but i would have signed him 3 weeks ago , it starts to get to the point its disgracefull options or desisions , if we loose again this weekend we should start a campaine to rid the board and humpty of their positions , as they are ment to be in place for the better of our club , they have failed badly so far

But do the sponsors?

I think I've stated before it was a salary cap issue because club had him as a union player coming to league which gives you a discount on salary cap but NRL auditor denied that.
