Thought woods has been good since Origin. However I felt today and last week weren't two of his better games. I'm still happy with him leaving

I don't think it's deep down that he's regretting his decision, I think it's showing fairly clearly. Wouldn't mind him staying, at the right price, we are short of a forward or 2 for next year.

He'd be copping heaps from his teammates atm i reckon. Probably coming back from the shower and finding wooden spoons in his bag. Just adds to the hilarity.

I think we are paying Matulino $500,000 to $550,000, Not a bad price for a quality player.

If Woods was on the open market he would still command the contract he will receive at the Bulldogs. The Knights, the Warriors and the Dragons are chasing at least on prop. The Sharks are a bit light on up front as well even with the addition of Ava.

If he's getting stick for heading to a club second on the ladder, what would Woods be copping? And no, i'm not saying it would be malicious. But boys will be boys. I would like nothing more than both us and Newcastle to keep winning and overtake the likes of the Dogs, Warriors & Titans, but nothing is guaranteed, imo. And as for next season, it would be mad to try and predict the outcome of anything at this stage - there is a whole off season to go through yet, before another year of ifs, buts, maybes, injuries and other extenuating circumstances that make it impossible to really know who will end up with the spoon.
