Woods sitting with Marshall

Idk if this has been mentioned, but I thought it was a poor look seeing our captain the day before a game, sitting acting all chummy with the opposition's halfback. Normally, I might not have thought too much of it, but given the week the club has had and the question marks around how the players will respond, it was not a good look. Seeing Marshall has already given his 2 cents on the subject, it makes you wonder they talked about.

oh, that was Woodsy asking Benji about things to do in NZ in the off season break..

Maybe taking Robbie camping in NZ with the chilly bin ?

I heard Chris Lawrence was there too.
So much for the lack of cohesion, two members of the leadership group showing up.

Perhaps Taylor has lost the dressing room and he has used Farah to try and get a message to the players that he runs the show.

And the players responded by not giving a [automatically edited] what he says.

I think these players today showed how the relationship is between Taylor and the players more than anything. This has gone unnoticed what with everything being focussed on Farah and Taylor.

So does this mean the 14 players who didn't show up support Taylor and dislike Robbie

Woods loves the cameras always the last ontop of the heap when a try is scored ..continually looking at himself on the big screen ..do not get your knickers in a knot he knew that media would be there any reason to get his mug on the Tele or in the papers a bit sad really ..a mature captain of the side would of stayed away yesterday but that is another story ..good luck to him we are all different .

I saw a few others on the hill.

I think they were probably smart enough not to sit together in big clumps.

he is there to support a long time friend and club mate.

Personally i like that in a captain

honestly you got to laugh at some of these comments.

Good point. The missed dive in Origin was deliberate.

Even Taylor himself said the club would need to support Robbie through this

Exactly what the players are doing

Too many people reading way too far into all this

And does it matter whether the players agree or disagree with what has happened ??

They are there to play football period , players play , this is the exact mindset that probably has put Robbie exactly where he is at the moment

Lot of people need to grow up , and if the players cant cope with this I include them as well

Next Tigers legend to target when RF goes - Aaron Woods

* hair to long
* loves the cameras
* sits with oppositions players
* likes Farah

As I said above , lots of people need to get over this and need to grow up

Happens to players far more influential in the game than Farah

Welcome to the modern game , if you don't like it Rugby Union or AFL would love some extra fans

Being a captain or in a leadership roll sacrifices have to be made that is a fact of life ,you want the responsibility and the respect this comes with the job.But let's not let that get in the way .

What a load of rubbish.

Woods is being himself. Not some slickster you want him to be.

I went to a lot of Reserve grade last year and it was not uncommon to see Woods at these games, especially at Leichhardt. Also Moses and quite a few of the team. I know it is pointed that he showed up yesterday but he is a frequent supporter of the reserve grade team.

Woods goes to just about all of the NSW Cup games at Leichhardt.

Seriously, we should be pointing out how good it is that he goes out of his way to go and support the NSW Cup boys, but some people would rather just be negative I guess…

Clearly Woods shouldn't have sat next to a former teammate and friend unless he was going to instigate a tirade of physical and psychological abuse. I'm sure this is what happened and Benji was subjected to 80 minutes of heckling and Chinese burns.

"Got a contract for next year?"
"Shh!"
"How good are the Auckland Blues going? Weren't you going to play for them?"
"Come on Woodsy I'm trying to watch the game… Ouch! My arm!"
