probably, you can't watch 7mate via foxtel. You gotta setup normal FTA channels. So you'd press something like 'source' or 'input' on your TV remote (not foxtel) and just try to watch normal tv and you should be able to find 7Mate.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

edit: If you have a settop box, or have bought the tv in the last few years you should almost definitely be able to find 7Mate

if you have no satellite DISH, but do have foxtel then it is cable...

interesting to see all these variations on what FTA channels different foxtel subscribers have. i thought there were only two?

my parents have it via cable and get all the FTA channels (which for the record, are only hd these days are they not?!).

i have it via satellite dish and get none barring abc and sbs ones.

put simply, you just need to search your free to air channels for 7mate if you dont already have it stored. someone has mentioned it is channel 73, so just store it via your tv. there is no coverage whatsoever on foxtel, so this is purely finding the channel…

**You could grab yourself a cheap dvd recorder** and throw them on your hard drive

… or dvr and watch it whenever you want. assuming youre over east, and really want to see the england aust game, you probably have about an hour to run out and get one!!

It is being replayed at 3.30 tomorrow arvo on 7mate as well if that helps TG

hmm…. Aus. vs. England, probably the two teams I care least about to be honest. Only one tiger and i doubt he'll get much game time. Bring on Fiji, USA, Italy and the kiwis :smiley:

might give it a miss, don't want to screw up my sleep schedule for next week. but i'll watch every game live after this weekend if i can

I get it thru foxtel.

Changed 'AV' setting to TV and found it. **Bit peeved because I Can't record it on IQ though**

Fiddle round with it…I can IQ record 7mate....ur situation seems like mine so I imagine you can

wait. so you get 7mate on foxtel?? then what is everyone complaining about, the only way you can not have 7mate then is if you don't have a settop box (or have a tv more than a few years old) and have satelite TV right?

god TV/pay TV is confusing, i have FTA watch the rest on my computer haha If they came out with netflix/hulu for sports I could watch all NRL games on my TV and rest of my tv shows on my computer :smiley:

im just wondering what peoples thoughts are regarding the crowds at the games? do you think they will be good? what if england doesnt make it to the final? will all the uk antipodeans make the trek up to manchester?

speaking of manchester, what do mancs call bed sheets and stuff? do they say, im going to shop for some new "here" today?

...and whats the deal with airline food?...

crowds will be strong. GF will sell out all 75k, but let's see the opening crowd first should also be 80-90% capacity at least.

and i think the RLWC has been structured well so that the minnows will also provide entertaining contests. NZ vs France should be interesting and the island 'derbies' too.
