Came across this article about Adam Hartigan and his progression in the NRL. and his level of involvement in recruiting..

"Zane Camroux will lead the Balmain Tigers SG Ball team out against Manly Warringah this weekend. Two clubs which have played a part in the career of Adam Hartigan. He'll be hoping, as all in his position do, that Camroux will be a success story, and that Wests Tigers will continue to build a competitive first grade roster based on the strength of their juniors. The ultimate aim being that with the help of some carefully picked players from outside the system, the club will once again raise the premiership trophy in front of its adoring fans."

Did we retain him?

Asleep at the wheel ?

Hi

I am new to the forum

I am really not sure there is any point persisting with Luke Brooks. If I was on the recruitment team I would be looking at Jamal Fogarty.

I would also be looking to get Tariq Sims signed up for 2 years.

That's a lot of 23's. Thankfully they are working on extending Stef's contract.

Not all of them are guaranteed to warrant re-signing though

WT'S hopefully learnt a lot from the good old days when the big four all came off contract around the same time.Anyway what does a contract really mean these days????

A contract means you have an income from one party until you find a better one and chuck a moses Matterson melt down and move onto a bigger contract and so on

at this point, I'd say Doueihi, Stef and Daine have to be the priorities. Kepaoa, Liddle, Blore, Gildart Seyfarth, Simpkins and Hastings we need to wait and see. Bray Guyan should be ready to become our 13 in a couple of years so that should mean we won't have to extend Peach. Brooksy probably needs a fresh start.

And at the end of next year, they'll be able to sign another contract with someone else and play like crap in 2023 with us 🙂

Guyan looks like a first grader already. Not sure how old he is but he's got the frame of an NRL lock. Hopefully he can spend the next year or two developing his ball playing. Hopefully by then we have the luxury of putting Peachey at 14 and getting to make a run the GF

long way off the finished product but the pedigree is there. needs to have a good year in Flegg and hopefully make his way into Cup sometime next year. from there I think you'd see him push for a debut in mid 2023.

edit: Justin Matamua will be gunning for the 13 jersey in a couple of years time too. he is an absolute gun. our back row is in good hands with Blore, Papali'i, Tuilagi, Tumeth, O'Kane, Saukuru, Simpkins, Matamua and Guyan all on our books.

Yeah wouldn't be surprised if we moved both Luch and Garner on next year to be honest

We are still lacking a bit of experience. Not saying Luch and Garner should be kept long term for that reason.
