I have learn't to control my Emotions over the years as i don't like frightening the kids , but if there is a big game the Tigers are playing she will say go to the Pub with your Drinking buddies . She's cool .
My better half is not a huge fan of Footy …she will watch games but only likes it when they score TRIES..the longer the better...
The not so young bloke is a Rorters Fan (yes I know I failed :brick: ) ..In 2013 he gave me a Rorters are Premiers T-Shirt for X-Mass which was fine cause I needed a new rag to wash the car....
My Daughter is a WT tragic and up until last Year was a member with me and use to attend games but now she has a boyfriend,,, :smiling_imp:

At least my young bloke is a tigers supporter through and through, although his favourite player IS Marika Koriobete- He recognised him instantly during the nines, and the first glimps he saw of him was that brilliant try he scored burning the opposite winger.
Needless to say he might end up a Purple fan if I don't keep drumming some Tedesco into him. :smiley:

I like to think that our young side will be a major force by the time she can understand/enjoy the game. She's a very smart bubba so that should be around Sept '15 :wink:
My brother also became a dad last year so really looking forward to when we can take both of our girls to the footy.

My wife follows the swans unfortunately. Been a member for years. Not even from vic. She takes my 2 daughters to all the home games and I take my son to the tigers games. Slowly trying to turn the girls.

I am the better half….
My Mrs was a Pamfers fan, though after a few years of pressure, and by bartering a transfer window with a group of mates at a party, she was offered the opportunity to follow the greatest league team on the planet without being shunned for jumping ship... converted.
Watching footy with her is another thing altogether though. She is the most one eyed fan you have ever seen, almost as if she comes down with a case of tourettes incessantly screaming "penalty" more often than any other coherant sentence by a long shot. Its funny, because she knows the game, her brother played in the RLWC one yr, a cousin played reserve grade for the Bulldogs, so she has been around the game all her life.
Luckily for her she jumped ship... a few yrs later, the Tigers "Boys Club" started to go to her work once a week after training, and she had some good laughs... went on for yrs.
Now my sprog is a Tigers fanatic too, managed to keep him in line under alot of pressure from the outlaws. His grandad is a Stains fan, and when those How to Train your Dragon movies came out, was buying him all the toys and crap, watching the movies with him everyday trying to hook him on Dragons to lock him in... he would go to their place 2 days a week. It was a full on campaign, but a failure.

We often go for bush walks or fishing on Sundays. When my wife and I are discussing what we'll do, if the Tigers are playing that day I'll say I want to be home in time for the game. Her stock standard reply is; Ok as long as you don't get all grumpy and take it out on the kids. It's as if the assumption is Tigers are going to lose.

After years of dragging my Souths fan son to WTs games, hes reached the age where he now has a voice of his own and doesnt come with me….my only other passionate RL fan family member is another souths fan bro in law - quite unbearable really.

My Wife is South American. She hates footy season but did make an effort at 1st to get into it. Sadly she hates Leichardt Oval as every time she went it rained. I'm blaming Mother Nature for her hate of Footy.
BUT!!! She loves the Footy Show. Go figure.

When I first met my wife she said she was a footy fan, which to her meant going to a game every 2 years, going to a GF BBQ and hoping NSW won origin…...So fair to say when we started dating she realised what I meant being a footy fan was and what she thought it was were worlds apart!
I end up going to at least one game most weekends, and am lucky enough to often get into a corporate gig of some sorts, she will come along if the gig is attractive enough, but rarely has anything to do with the footy.
I watch around about 20 games of footy a week when the junior reps and rep school stuff is on, my wife tolerates it, but definitely does not join in, she does like dropping little pearls of footy wisdom on her work mates from time to time to build relationships with her footy loving work mates, so she takes some interest in all the footy thrown in her face!
I end up going to at least one game most weekends, and am lucky enough to often get into a corporate gig of some sorts, she will come along if the gig is attractive enough, but rarely has anything to do with the footy.

I met my girlfriend the week before the warriors semi-final in 2011\. I blame her for our horrible form and misfortune since that night.
I've taken her to a few games over the years and we've lost every single one of them. Again i blame her.
