Your Most Improved/Best Player of 2019

My Best..without any doubt at all...Luke Brooks...anything that moved he took down
My most improved...Paul Momorovski...wing, centre, fullback plus a big step up from Esan Marsters in pingin the ball over the black dot.

Brooks' defence was really special this season. Came up with some beauties tonight as well.

Shout out to ET for finishing the year strong.

He really performed at the back end of the season didn't he. He is a real heart player.

Elijah played a huge part again today. Making a difference in gaining the ascendancy when he came on in the first half.

Yep Matto buy a country mile , but Brooks has had a great year if he was not our half we probably get the spoon and hands down award goes to the dog Cleary.

Player of the season - Matterson

Most Improved - Garner

Yep good call and add Mikaele as one to watch.

Best; I'll go with Brooks, but just shading Matterson overall and on the back of a great finish to the season once allowed control again.

Most Improved; got to go with Garner, who started well before the major hiccup with the loss of his father and sorting out some of his defensive issues in the second half of the season.

Special mention to Nofoaluma, who came back from early season injury setback to perform well and be denied the fruits of two great efforts when obstructing nobody this afternoon.

Finally, Benji, who finally seems to have just about removed the crap from his game, being superb in his own game and allowing Luke to shine in recent weeks.

Agree on Mikaele. Excited to see him develop

Shout out David Nofo, When he got back into the side he was one of the few that offered any offensive effort

I think most would be in agreement re Matterson ... and most likely Garner as most improved. I think he’ll turn into a really good player.
My shout out is to Nofo.
I was one of many who weren’t too unhappy when he got dropped.
Have got to give it to him though... came back better and proved himself.

1 Garner
2 Clarke
3 Chee Kam

TBH, other than one good run against Souths, I don't think Chee Kam did a thing all year. I can barely remember him doing one good thing outside them, as in a good hitup or great tackle etc.

@WeHaveCheeKam Yeah he didn't win the game against The Broncos either - I must retract that point I guess. And the try against the Dragons, And the other 8 tries. Yep he did nuffink.

Brooks was better than last year.
Garner looked good at the back end of the seasons.
Matto was good but his first year so I can’t say he has improved however he was worth every cent.

@LeichhardtTiger

The try against the broncos he ran run sideways, meant to pass, spun around not knowing what to do and was lucky a gap opened up.

He has no impact on the game and like most of our pack, wouldn't see minute at near any other club.

Single handily won us 2 games and collected 4 competition points ..
He’s a solid bench player on a minimum wage ..
