Argues Rankin is pus, picks Karwhin over JAC…

Yes

I'll take the bloke scoring tries against other blokes over the cocky kid running over other kids.

*Sigh*

Karwhin had some time in NSW Cup too and he tore it up if I remember correctly.
He's a long term prospect and has a great story that goes along with it.
Blindside stuff really but more authentic.

He will be a massive draw when he kicks on, need to capitalize on this.
Needs to be developed into a first grader.
He'll be a huge draw.

$$$$

Karwhin's backstory has no bearing on his ability. For mine he is behind JAC in the pecking order. They're both revelations in NYC, but JAC is in the top 25 over him for a reason.

I know Ava has a lot of supporters on this forum, but I am not sold. Put in some blinders last year when his contract was up for renewal, but this year does not seem to be producing on the same level.

We legit have no one else to replace him with…

Buchanan? Even worse.

Griffin?
Edwards?
Doubt it.

Agree. Ava is certainly capable, and he's infinitely better than anything else on offer.

Karwhin could be the next Koroibete but a success.
High hopes for him.

No other African brothers in first grade.
It'd do a lot for the game.

Yeah, he's Holden Cup and Addo-Carr is in the top 25.
He's fast but he can't defend.

Worth the risk imo.

I agree that this is probably a waste of time. It would be nice to think that we are seeing who might be correct with our crystal ball gazing. However, we know that in reality, the same passengers will be included. For what it's worth…...

1\. Tedesco
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Simona (if suspended Peni)
4\. Naiqama
5\. JAC or Karwhin (is Kharwin the better defender?)
6\. Moses
7\. Littlejohn
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Grant
11\. Lawrence
12\. Aloiai
13\. Sue

14\. Seumanufagai
15\. Fine (apparently good yesterday and Edwards not ready)
16\. Chee-Kam (although quiet yesterday)
17\. Halatau

How are Felise and Tatola going in the Holden Cup? Worth blooding soon for some short, sharp impact off the bench? We need size and energy!

1\. Tedesco
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Simona
4\. Naiqama
5\. Peni
6\. Moses
7\. Brooks (but gezz i am losing patience with him)
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Grant
11\. Lawrence
12\. Halatau
13\. Sue

14\. Seumanufagai
15\. Rankin (gives cover at hooker, halves and back 3)
16\. Chee-Kam (give cover backrow and centre)
17\. Aloiai (needs more game time)

It is bench and Taylor's sub choice's that kills us. We need impact and lift off the bench. The only player that does it for us is Ava who has been pretty good.
Rankin covers about 6 positions
Chee-Kam just needs to be let loose and as edge player, gives Halatau a break who then can cover hooker also if Farah needs a spell.
Aloiai - can replace Sue or Grant/Woods and push Sue to front row. We need to be careful not burn out Woods though as he is playing big mintues for FR.

This bench covers most options

Brooks needs to be dropped, like to see someone else in for Rankin and not see Cherry sitting on the bench for 60+ minutes

I honestly doubt we will see any changes apart from injuries/suspension except for buchanan back on the bench (sigh).

Tedesco
Nofoaluma
Simona
Naquiama
Rankin -I watched JAC yest so Rankin stays until Hunt is back
Moses
Brooks
Sue
Elijah Taylor
Lawrence
Woods
Farah

I like that. Only difference i would go is Rankin off the bench for Edwards. We have hooker covered with Halatau, and the backs covered with Chee Kam. Chance Peni is the forgotten man.

I believe if you do the same thing you get the same results. Like a circle.

We now need to bring in some changes and now.

Peni or JAC for Rankin (Rankin not a winger)

Littlejohn for Brooks (Still can't see the hype plus Moses played better without him in game 1)

Edwards/Chee-Kam for Cherrigton (don't require a second hooker on bench)

Aloiai to start at lock and Sue on bench for prop rotation (Need Ava and Sue to take over from Woods and Grant).

Yeah, whilst he is finding his stomach on the ground a lot better, the trouble is he seems to take up more time getting into the position than we would lose by his old turtle grounding.

He is going okay, but is certainly part of our middle of the matches slumber. I would rather split our starting pair than have the current lull leading into halftime, which coincides with an avalanche of points from that point and well, until around the time Grant returns.

The rotation of the middle men is my main concern as it all flows from there and we need less minutes with more quality from them, including our captain.

Dene to the bench or out and Chance to have first shot on the left.

The forwards are going ok except for their brain dead lack of discipline. They're were very close to holding both Parra and the Sharks who have great packs, so I do not see a great need for to much change. Rankin has to go and Brooks needs a wake up call and the bench needs a over haul

This is a team for next week not today. I'm saying he will be a contracted player by next week

Change so Ava starts with Edwards, so we have good bench with Grant and Halatau. Hopefully keeps it tighter up the centre.
