what did he do smeg that was rubbish?, he scored a great try, made at least 20 tackles made at least 25 hit ups ,looked threatening every time he touched the ball, got the players player award after the game.

The dropped bals, the missed tackles and the sometimes poor positioning for kicks.

If he got players player they must have forgotten Davis was out there

not sure what game you were watching if any, pritchard was mistake free, no dropped balls no missed tackles, you dont like him cause hes not in a balmain ryde jersey..mate he played centre , not fullback

Defended on the wing for periods of the match hence positioning on kicks is a big part of the game. Dropped at least 3 passes in the second half alone and was far more readable in defence than he normally is.

I rate Rhys highly as a player. I just think yesterday was a very ordinary performance by his standards.

FTR unless major injuries occur I doubt any player from Balmain or Western Suburbs will get a shot at the top grade unless they are within the top 25 player schedule for at least the first half of the season. Football is not only about managing talent but also managing the books. That is the simple reality of it all

never once did he defend on the wing, never once dropped a ball, made more tackles in this game than he ever has….....did not play any minute of yesterdays game on the wing...

You must have been staring at the sun for a little while there tomcat.

CT was seated about 4 seats away from me for one of the drops by Rhys

MATE I SWEAR ON MY MOTHERS LIFE, he never dropped a ball, mate this kid is knocking on the door of a first grade debut, he doesn't need idiots like you trying to run him down, get behind him smeg ,he's got it all over brown daniela and fitzy….

Better or not they are not within the first tier cap.

It does not come down merely to ability and talent in any side. Money and cap management play a massive part in how a football team is structured and run. It is just the way of things.

Where am I running him down? I call every game as I see it.

Call me an idiot and chuck a little tizzy if thats what makes you feel better though

Not sure if Davis is quick enough for the wing. He looks alot bigger these days.

then why is it i see you pushing Meaneys barrow ?

I pushed his barrow as I thought we had nobody else in the top 25 who was a good fullback.

Beau Ryan proved me utterly wrong on that one. As much as I wanted Sean given a go when Lui was injured (meaning Moltzen would be finally be away from the 1 jersey) realistically I knew it was not something that would happen regardless of my opinion.

What Smeg says is true - we will really only pick players from the top tier unless we get in dire straits because of the financial implications . In that case I think the team will be:

1\. Ryan
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Lawrence
4\. Ayshford
5\. Brown
6\. Marshall
7\. Lazarus
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah ©
10\. Galloway
11\. Ellis
12\. Fulton
13\. Heighington

14\. Flanagan
15\. Moors
16\. Fifita
17\. Fitzhenry

Few things to remember here:

1) Even though we sustained injuries that was probably our best defensive effort of the season and Sheens will not want to make changes.

2) Even though we have lost Toddy, Tim will want to carry a back on the bench.

3) As much as I think there are probably better choices, Fitzy did fill a role last night and did prove his vesatility to an extent

4)Mitch Brown has not done too much wrong but in saying that he has not done too much right eithe. But no real reason to drop him.

**While I believe this will be the team we will see, it is not my preferred team**

It's such a shame that I have to post a side without our lucky charm

Just make Ryan our lucky charm. :stuck_out_tongue:

We've won 3/3 since he has been named at fullback
