I thought Latu tried hard but struggled. I would be looking elsewhere at this stage. Ayhsford back to right centre. Brown to left wing outside the tank Josh Daivis. Will never happen though.
 
Someone once made a statement about team selections looking like shifting deck chairs on the Titanic. Once again we have got to that point in time.

kinda the same hard-on everyone has for Mullaney….. He can't tackle, and he's the same height (almost) as Matt Utai, but without the muscle!!

You do not have a clue. Check out the size of Barba at canterbury and the fullback for the cowboys. Mullaney has a proven try scoring record and is a reliable goal kicker. He can also catch a ball which I would have thought was an important part of fullback skills.
 
Lets get the basics right first, we must have;

1\. Brown or McKinnon (moltz never again at fb)

7\. Moltzen or Lui (big fan of Jacob and his time will come, u20's are struggling without him so get him back there for more experience for now)

The rest doesnt matter!

1\. as long as marshall is in the halves we are gonna rely on him. i dont think this is healthy for us. we need more variety.
2\. its better than playing a halfback off the bench.
3\. a halves combination of miller and moltzen is still better than alot of combinations going around in the nrl.
4\. marshall will have more of a running game creating a heap of opportunities. we need this against the broncos who's defence at the moment is red hot. the fact he'll be in more 1 on 1 and 2 on 1 situations means he has more of a chance of breaking the line.

it'd never happen but i'd put money on it that it'd work and work well.

Payten's on his last legs. He's playing less minutes and having minimal impact. It annoys me that younger guys like Woods aren't getting a spot in the 17 while Payten is obviously struggling atm.
