Your team vs Eels

I would select Fonua just for his beast like runs and energy he produces….last start the team seemed down so he would supply energy. He would pulverise a player running on his outside not watch him stroll past for a try!

Exactly. I would've loved to see him go one on one with George Jennings in defence and completely smash him and totally expose him. Considering how everybody's been raving about him lately.

If he could catch him, that is.

Hopefully most of the week is all about the defensive structures and getting back to how we won games on that.

Right side defence and middle players take note.

I know Packer is a loss in this regard but 50 missed tackles against the Knights is not a good sign.

Yep, it was our defensive structure that let us down against the Knights. Three tries were scored by players not holding the defensive line. I recall in the early rounds when Benji broke the line he immediately realised what he had done and ran back to create a straight line. He broke the line against the Knights and that created an overlap and Sio to score. Eisenhuth also did it and so did Marsters. In the early rounds we maintained the straight line but lately we seem eager to break it and hence leave holes or overlaps for the opposition.

I would be dropping the whole right edge defence until they can learn how to defend as a unit..looks like some get a free pass though..

1\. Thompson
2\. Fonua
3\. McQueen
4\. Naiqama
5\. Lolohea

6\. Gamble
7\. Brooks

8\. Twal
9\. Liddle
10\. Matulino
11\. Aloiai
12\. Lawrence
13\. Taylor

14\. Eisenhuth
15\. Chee-Kam
16\. Felise
17\. Grant

You need to lay off the Baijiu

Why do Marshall Marsters and Rochow stay after there horrible defensive decisions against the Knights …yet a lot have dropped the winger....?

I blamed him for one try , when he wasn't wide enough to start with and needed to stay on Ken "Irvine" Sio

Marshall for one , MCK for one and the refs for the most important one

I don't think Rochow trusts Marshall that much anymore , Marshall is racing out of the line too often and teams are reading it too easily
