17\. Fotuaika

Hows Fotuiaki gone in the trials so far ?? Haven't heard too many mentions

In my opinion Thompson deserves a spot in the starting pack. I am not as doom and gloom as others regarding our forwards. We have a good mix of youth and experience. It was a shame to lose Gavet and Groat but it gives opportunity for others to step up.

I though Blair had a good game. There wasnt this hysteria last week when we thrashed parra, and they drew with the Panthers tonight.

The side picks itself for round one depending on injuries and the knights will be a good test to see where we are at.

Miller was useless tonight as were a few others touted as being our future.
Why we still have Reddy amazes me (yes, so what , he scored a try ).
The only guy taking it forward was Galloway - hope the trials have sorted the men from the boys.

Miller wasn't involved at all against the Roosters. I dont know if that was the plan or he just didn't inject himself. Either way, we looked no different last night than what we did last year, and that's playing with one playmaker short.

1\. Moltzen
2\. Utai
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Koroibete
6\. Benji
7\. Miller

17\. BMM

18\. Seumanafagai
19\. Naiyaravaro

If Woods is fit, he comes into the squad for BMM

We know Moltzen will be there somewhere so it would come down to Thompson or Pettybourne to miss out as they play the same position. Prob reluctantly drop Thompson

I agree with ck tiger, don't no what all the hype about miller is he has shown nothing so far. Give him 5 weeks then let him go to England.

We can't afford to carry both Miller and Moltzen.
I hope Potter is not as stubborn as Sheens and actually does something..at the moment its all talk about best players being picked.

I will go with Nev's team as well.

I have to agree with you. Playing Reddy show very little confidence in our current avaiable backs. He is too slow for the backs and his future lies somewhere in the forwards. Galloway was the only forward actually going forward and if we don't quickly blood some big forwards who really know how to go forward West Tigers will be in trouble.

I am going to surprise with my following suggestion but I mean it with genuine respect - Lote Tuquiri is as big and definitely faster than most NRL prop forwards. Why not try him at prop forward and see how he goes?

The guy gets seriously injured catching a ball on the wing let alone taking the hits as a forward!
