Your unpopular opinions.

Opinions. Don't really care for them. Which tends to offend the person giving them.

Can't imagine why anyone would complain about an opinion in a thread labelled "unpipular opinions."

I'd be happy for it to rain everyday. I could easily handle living in England i think.

You do realise it's the "UNPOPULAR" Opinions thread, right?

You can't bash his opinion in this thread - the whole point is you are supposed to put forward an opinion that you feel the majority would disagree with - for example -

"Hisenberg thoroughly understands the idea of the Unpopular Opinion Thread"

I hate rain , I hate gutters that block up and I hate paying to have ceilings repaired

About a 4 metre by 1.5 metre piece of ceiling decided to fall out at work (fortunately in the kitchen ,above a prep bench )

Just a nightmare 5 people cleaning for 10 hours not making a cent

Most Hospitality Insurance includes loss of income due to interruption of trade… Make sure you check out your policy!

Good luck

It doesn't rain in England , just constant drizzle !
But you'd love it , the music scene , pubs and clubs ! …..

That's pretty much my experience of England Hobbo. Was never a torrential downpour, just a steady drizzle.

I have always thought state of origin is totally overrated. I just don't share the same excitement for it as 99.9% of other rugby league fans do.

When I went on the tube in England and people were going to work etc. They seemed miserable but not any different to say Sydney? Look at there Weather all year round, cut them some slack though?
I really found the English people to be very helpful and welcoming. They have a fantastic sense of humour, there Pubs and live bands are brilliant, except they serve warm beer.
There Pubs are brilliant before game day, what an atmosphere. Made some good mates there.

I am happy to celebrate Australia Day, but on any date other than twenty six January.

Agreed.. Its time for our Country to do whats right and move Australia Day to its rightful day.

1st January, in Celebration of the Federation of Australia of 1901!

I've always thought it was a rather insensitive to have Australia Day on January 26th, and I don't consider myself to be a flag burning, basket weaving, left wing extremist.

I would support moving it to 1st January to coincide with the Federation.

Great suggestion as it is the day we truly became a nation.

Whilst doing so, they should also balance the state/territory imbalance and dissolve their governments. Representative numbers of senators should also be on the agenda.

Global warming is just part of the earth's natural cycle.
Basically the planet is a living thing and it will continue to evolve naturally with or without us. As it has done since its formation in the solar system.

No doubt, but it would seem extremely foolish to think that we as humans are not also having a dramatic effect on this planet.

Deforestation and pollution levels have multiplied in recent decades, let alone the last century, many times more than the surging population which has grown some seven fold over the period.

Thought this was all a myth…

Makes sence and it will then justify the big waste of money our governments pump out for Fireworks on Australia Day Eve

would have thought the millions going out to see the fireworks and all the tourism generated would already justify it. :unamused:
