Your view on what's wrong with Wests Tigers?

What has been wrong is in the past as far as I am concerned ,with what has happened over the last few days I feel confidant that the corner has been turned. This decision is huge IMO and this alone marks the dawning of a new era , my only concern is the Coach moving forward but from my own connections this could I say could also turn around .

So we use Taylor as our whipping boy and for supporters to throw rocks at for all the dramas of this year and then we put him to the slaughter!! :bash

Sounds about right.

Too many different admins over the last few years, much like many governments, ready for a quick fix, band aid solution , papering over the cracks ….knowing they can simply bail the moment it gets too hard...
We need leadership that will be here for the long haul with the best interests of the club, players and supporters in mind.
Prior WTs boards merely bickered about what one had and they didnt, the constitution was set at everything 50/50 which imo and Ive said it from day dot, was a recipe for disaster...you cant have two entitys at the steering wheel.
Hopefully the current mob can do some good, I have no confidence though....my enthusiasm has all but diminished, I will watch with a skeptical eye

The question should be " How do we fix the mess we're in ? "….. I believe that the moves so far are positive , this is the result of some really terrible decisions by the previous administration , I was amazed when they gave Farah a 4 yr contract , among other bad moves , but there's no point in going over old ground , I support the current actions ,The way forward is not going to be all that pretty but , you have to break a few eggs to make an omelette , they could give "high rise Harry" a ring too , nothing to lose there .

The biggest problem, they win bugger all football games–--none of these problems would be happening if they were a successful team. The bigger they struggle, the more internal bombs go off.

This will all go away in 2016 with a 50% or better win ratio, or will get a lot worse with another dud year.

The old saying you can only look up when your on the bottom, till someone turns you over!!!!

You've basically covered off on my sentiments Vic.

The current situation is unpalatable, but respectable from my view as we have a board that is willing to make unpopular changes in order to change the poor direction this club has taken.

If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

It's a shame that Farah and the club will part ways like this, but it will do both parties the favour. We don't look any more likely getting to the finals next year with things as they are, and Farah will not get another premiership continuing with us as it is.

Sports is a unique business field as emotion is an inherent part of the make up. People belong to a team, it's sold to us that way. I would consider this forum like a huge dysfunctional family. Many people that are on here I've shared jokes with, laughed with, argued with, insulted and been insulted by, some I've even developed cherished friendships with, are a constant part of my life.

That said, like anything in life, sometimes things don't work out the way we'd planned and sometimes it really hurts. Your first love leaving you, the best mate you lose contact with, the family member that passes on well before they are meant to. Some of things are well within our control, some are not. None are never easy to deal with.

It hurts now, and understandably, but the move isn't totally senseless. I know that this club in the past has had form being recklessly stupid but with more credentials this time around I am certain they have the clubs, and our, best interests at heart. Corporate black marks are hard to shake off.

"With risk comes great reward."

Vamos a los Oeste Tigres!

Starts with the top.

Their has been far too much attention on the players when it needed the top to be sorted out since the JV came together

Hopefully there will be no Wests or Balmain people controlling this club and it will be run as an actual business only then will we start seeing changes for the better occur.

Sheens and Potter didn't get to pick their squads, Taylor hasn't yet either and won't for another year at least which says a lot really.
