Michael Tannous

Not saying he was. But a busted shoulder on top of his stuffed knee from last season will set him back substantially in his pursuit of first grade.
Some still would've liked to watch him play in NSW cup...

The club is a machine with many functioning parts other than first grade that are also important to future successes.

Wishing Mikey a sleeping recovery.

For sure. Talented youngsters need as much time on the park as possible, especially after a couple of seasons buggered by Covid. Was really hoping (still am) that Tannous turns out to be our brightest up and comer because god knows we need a talented halfback more than anything else at this club.

My boy @KingRobbie said the club view him as a hooker and are developing him as one.

That's a shame, I was hoping he'd be a 7. Especially with Api coming and Simpkin yet to be given a good go in first grade.
Extremely man...

7s are harder to find than 9s but yeah supposedly the club sees him as a hooker.

Kid is so talented, could be a Benji like 6, a DCE like 7 or a Damien Cook like 9.. depending on where the club pushed him.

I'm a fan. Hoping he kicks on in grade and has a long career with us. By all reports he and his family love the Tigers.

Not to mention that Rua is our next best hooker prospect after Simpkin

I rate Tannous so hope he can come back & compete for a halves position.

Keep in mind this was from one of his family members however I’d been told the club was so impressed with his pre season and his data (apparently in the top few of the club, from a guy who’s never been fulltime) that they had spoken about offering him a fulltime contract last year. They told me it was for NRL but I’m assuming they meant development

Wouldn't suprise me if true seems a good trainer needs to prove it on field

The next Benji, DCE & Cook all wrapped into one?!?!

No idea how our kids get overhyped. Based on what we saw on Friday night, I think the best thing that could happen for these kids careers is to never hit first grade, just live on perpetually in youtube highlight videos.
