So that is the answer you won’t see it in new posts if your post is the last post until someone else makes a post in the thread..

On the phone after you click new posts at the top there ore 4 options.. if you click on What’s new you should see a list of active threads

I really don’t know what your issue is with me. i never get personal and always try and keep it respectful. Again, I don’t know why you take it as a personal affront when someone takes you up on something. But I’ve mentioned this a million times, but you still seem to. I don’t think there was anything wrong with the question I asked. I wasn’t rude or arrogant. If the biggest issue isn’t Brooks, then it’s a fascinating thing to wonder what is.

At the Roosters he had the NSW halfback Pearce in the team and at Manly he had the million dollar man DCE as half.
He’s a halfback.
You seem to think being the best player in Super League,including leading 2 different teams to grand finals, and playing for Great Britain is less illustrious than Brooks leading the Tigers to 9 years of nothing.

fact isthough he has not played halfback in nrl except for 35 odd games the rest he was a 6.
Tompkins was also best player in super league and didn't cut it in nrl, super league is not the nrl in regards to talent.

That’s it in a nutshell. Feel like I have been saying forever that the step up in class from ESL is off the planet. Thankfully this will be seen by everybody in the next few weeks.
 
Penrith Manly Melbourne Parramatta about the only clubs that I can think of that have the luxury of a definitive halves pairing - barring injury. The rest of the teams have one but still considering the other. A real lack of genuine playmakers available.

I don’t think he’ll be bad per se, but he’s not going to turn us around, which is what I think a lot of people believe he’s capable of. He’s not a game changing signing by any means

Our average spine, our piss poor back row, our centres, our edge defense, our lack of leaders, our poor recruitment, eight home grounds, our dodgy facilities, our hobo CEO. We’ve got issues dude. But keep picking on the scapegoat if you must.

I give it 15 mins before he realises he’s not in Kansas anymore. Trophies in super league are nice but…

I agree with you regarding the massive step up from ESL to NRL and that many (most) dont make that step (particularly backs) but the one advantage that Hastings does have is he knows what the standard is. He played enough games in the NRL and at a reasonable enough standard (within a great Roosters set up) to KNOW what the standard is going to be like.

Whether the NRL standard has changed in that time and whether Hastings can step up is a known unknown.
