Totally agree...hes a 6 in most teams...at a pinch a centre.But weve known that for some time
Hes gotta earn his position back into the side,but given he was our best last year thats highly probable.
Thinking ..and hoping..Hastings will be our best this year.Think he'll go ok

He actually was signed Taylor didn’t want him so we paid a chuck of change for to play for Parra.

Maybe now but at the time when he joined Parra I thought he did a real job in that side.

His first game I watched him play at 7. He went well with towering bombs which caused the Sharks' fullback great bother. I thought at the time he will end up at 13 and still do especially after two knee reconstructions.

I still believe he is our long term 6. people forget he's only played 70 NRL games. very good attacking kicking game, throws a great long ball and very dangerous when he takes the line on. the question is who we stick next to him at 7, not whether he should be moved.

coming back from injury I feel you're right. I'm just hopeful it's not a long term proposition. for mine he's a 6 and should be ours for as long as we have him.
Come on guys, every team in the comp aims their attack at the smallest guys on the field. Brooks would be one of the best front on tacklers for his size in the game. DCE, Cronk, and the Chin have great forwards protecting them, not so with Brooks. Don't let bias and statistics which can be skewered to suit any occasion rule your thinking.

Everything you've mentioned he does is the traditional play of the skilled lock forward who at a pinch can fill in at 6. The demise of this type of creative forward is due to the bash and barge merchant coaches sticking a prop at lock. Many would not remember Rocky Laurie, Malcolm Reilly or this guy below. Warning this may bring a tear to the eye of the Maggies' fans. Langmack was a very smart lock forward. I wish his style of lock was playing today.
