Madge doesn't have to go, we need a backrower who can play 80 min of quality D and AD back, thats it, next year we get 2 players that we could use now! Next year we lose a quality inexperienced backrower but have cash to buy Tapine or equivalent now if soneone cone avail, simple. We will be better this year than last year, well come 9th!

Madge will improve the squad mentally and in terms of fitness.

Madge can't even figure out how to use the bench. Maybe the reason the team has fitness issues is because players aren't rotated correctly.

I read with absolute pity some of the comments in this thread....
Madge has finally got the rubbished cleared that has had us hamstrung for years,has got some great youth,has got a couple of ESL imports that have yet to get used to NRL,mainly Gildart a spine that has had Liddle (injured)so we go with Jake,Brooks the evergreen 1/2 that has been here 9 seasons,a 5/8 that shows great managment skills and a F/B just back from a broken leg...Madge is trying to get a top 17 in order and most on here want him sacked...
Wake up and smell the roses some of you blokes or go and get your coaching license ...
It will take 6/7 weeks to see how things pan out....
If you think Newy will be a knock over think again...the Roosters had a very good side on the field on the weekend and they showed how rusty and full of mistakes were in their game...

Agree with that assesment.
I don't believe we can expect too much from this roster.
Gaps everywhere particularly with few long term injuries and that, for club like ours spells problems.
I usually don’t make an early call and hate being negative but my reading of the tea leaves is that 1/3 of our current roster and Madge will be missing by end of September.
Would love to be proven wrong but that’s my take for what it’s worth.
As far as our recruitment needs for next year we need to beef up at fullback, centre, back row and ball playing lock. Back row is bit of look and see how our development players pan out during back end of the year.
A experienced prop to replace Tamou also Needed.

Part of the issue twal and Tamou are both real toilers, Garner just plain sucks. Waiting for Musgrove to have a dig. No impact bench forwards.
