You’d need to be in the building to see what happens when someone doesn’t conform to the acceptable standards. Is it just glossed over or is it addressed? Culture is setting high standards and not compromising on them.

He had an extended run and wouldn't pass the ball. I love his passion, but he was not good at fullback or 5/8. He is an expensive centre that may eventually develop into a good 5/8.You lot forget easy how Douehi at 6 was our best week in week out
He doesn’t have a position. He’s just a little bit better version of Mbye at present. He had an extended run and wouldn't pass the ball. I love his passion, but he was not good at fullback or 5/8. He is an expensive centre that may eventually develop into a good 5/8.
And doing bags in hotel roomsYou’re right people will find it boring. It’s Bellamy putting blokes on construction sites when they arrive in Melbourne. It’s not signing Jimmy Roberts because there’s a spot on a roster you can’t fill.
See how fit he’s looking now. Sure he didn’t live up to the standards but my point is it was addressed. Rehab/ probably his toughest pre-season I’d imagine. And doing bags in hotel rooms
Interesting concept, we clone him! At he very least he would be able to pass or kick to someone who can catch!B
Try Brooksy at #1
Need some better centres still , Gildart and Garner would stink it up.Interesting concept, we clone him! At he very least he would be able to pass or kick to someone who can catch!

unless you are offering that small fortune when he was 14, the rest of the comp had also already noticed.Hindsight is a beautiful thing, but we should have offered Nanai a small fortune before the rest of the comp took notice.
It’s not the first time though. They’ve had at least 2 others done for doing coke IIRC (Bromwich and Proctor) Plus various other issues but it all gets brushed aside when you win.See how fit he’s looking now. Yeah I really doubt that they suddenly got 6 offers overnightunless you are offering that small fortune when he was 14, the rest of the comp had also already noticed.
I didn’t argue they are Saints. But on all evidence they have incredibly high standards in performance. You only have to watch Bellamy in the box to know what he won’t cop. It’s not the first time though. He seems to care and kicks goals so a fair bit better for meHe doesn’t have a position. He’s just a little bit better version of Mbye at present.
Yeah my point is that everyone points to the Storm when talking about “culture” but they have their issues. Winning culture is the best kind of cultureI didn’t argue they are Saints. They've had a good talent-stacked roster for a fair few years now. Cheating the salary cap certainly hasn't hurt them at all, they even snagged a premiership throughout that time. Their roster is so superior to ours and has been for the best part of a decade.I'm not sure how to explain it. I look at Cronulla and I see good club culture. They don't always have a star-studded team, but they know how to win, even in their down years. They've had overpaid-has-beens on their cap for a number of years (guys like Woods, Dugan, Moylan, Fifita), yet still they were able to win games consistently.
Yep. Never heard of a team struggling near the bottom of the ladder to be described as having a good culture. Winning games is the only prerequisite for having a 'good culture'. Which you also need the best players to have this success in the first place.Yeah my point is that everyone points to the Storm when talking about “culture” but they have their issues. Winning culture is the best kind of culture
