The players will instantly transform from lazy bums to committed hard-nosed first graders the minute a new coach walks in the door. That's the elephant in the room. Madge is forcing these guys to play the way they do week after week. So we sack Madge.TIm Sheens will take over as interim coach madge will be lucky to see the next 3 games out by all reports. I really hope it happens my dream will come true. Sooner madge goes the better. Time for him to see the light and leave. Instead of holding out the inevitable. I think John Morris will be a good candidate if his available next year. My opinion I heard that alot the players have lost faith in the tigers especially their coach his no good can't get them going then his tried his best got nowhere so it's time to go. The sooner the better
And Munster. That what our chairman should be concentrating on instead of spending all his time cuddlng Brooks in the media .Bellamy
I personally don't mind if we have Morris or Flanagan. Morris, working alongside Sheens, would be a breath of fresh air. He did well at Cronulla under difficult circumstances and with Sheens' presence should be able to attract new players to the club. I heard Flanagan in commentary on a Tigers game last year. His ideas on what we should be doing in attack made sense - again a breath of fresh air.Morris also was responsible for the Pathways programme at the Sharks. We were exposed to some of it yesterday.
I sense another tankfest at wankbest.TIm Sheens will take over as interim coach madge will be lucky to see the next 3 games out by all reports. I really hope it happens my dream will come true. Ben Gardiner for interim coach.
If that happens and he proves he can lead our side to 40%+ wins for the rest of season, we give him the job.
Otherwise John Morris. Our club needs fresh ideas and John showed that at the Sharks.
I can't see Cameron leaving the riff. He's on a good thing at the moment, and our club is a tough gig. But in saying that 'if' he could turn us around, it would cement his place as a first class NRL coach.
If we get flogged again on Monday, Madge's role is untenable. The only reason he'll stay as our coach for the remainder of the year is contractual issues.
Madge's reported pay-out is $800K. I don't believe Pascoe's finance spreadsheet is true (creative accounting), so money will be an issue.
Sheens will never coach again. Not even in an interim role.TIm Sheens will take over as interim coach madge will be lucky to see the next 3 games out by all reports. I really hope it happens my dream will come true. Sooner madge goes the better. Time for him to see the light and leave. Instead of holding out the inevitable. Could be wrong, but I think Sheens is what drew them, not Madge. If Madge goes, will that give our two big signings for 2023 a out. Funny thing a lot of people talk how Madge is unpopular with players, but you also hear a lot of players giving him the thumbs up.
2022 is a write off, unless it gets absolutely ugly I would stick with Madge, no other coach is going to do better with the cattle we have available
Culture is driven by senior players... finding those players with grit and the will to win is the key to our success, I cant recall recruiting any in recent memory.Who can change the culture of the club that has 17 years of Back to back failure?
Ill back this for a very good reason:Wonder if Ricky Stuart might go okay here? I think his time is up at the Raiders, has a history with Sheens and I think might be okay for a couple of years with us. Sheens might even talk them into a coach swap, so both organisations aren't out of pocket. A bit left field I know, but an idea nonetheless.
