Just watched the interview with Talakai and wasn't aware he made his NRL debut under Madge. Why haven't we gone for him?
He's someone I'd love for the club to land.

I don't know mate. I like your train of thought, and believe we need some hard experienced players to lead us from the wilderness as other clubs have had successfully in the past, but just wonder whether Simms has it in him week in week out.

I certainly wouldn't put Sims in Packers mold.
Sims is still physically tough and fit. He'd be a good signing at the right price.
Understand people's fear of recruiting older players.
We've been burnt in that area before.

That's true, but then again if Luke Lewis came to present time in the same physical condition as when he went to the Sharks, I would pick him over Sims.
Another however!
If Sims was in our team from round 1, he would probably be our best forward 🤔

Last I heard the club was waiting the outcome of the assault charges before contract talks.

I was also keen from the get go too. He’s not my favourite player but they are all on long deals.

Gee Martin is a solid player. Panthers have soooo many top players
