He even had the fowards running great lines and players in motion. Real team player and kudos to management on getting him here. Reminded me alot of Farah with his passion and strive to win.

Of course. We need to build the team around him and Doueihi. Hastings is a key player. Losing Luc is a tragedy but losing Hastings would be a million times worse.

No I didn’t notice that. That is perfect, it was wasted from me sitting here In my lounge room screaming at Musgrove!
I noticed the next opportunity though that freak defender Alex Twal (cough * doubters) nailed the inside pressure on Brown and the ball skidded over the sideline!

I watched the game over he’s an organiser he took the pressure off Brooks before during and after the game. You need a talker as your HB he’s constantly pointing telling players where to be what lines to run. The best part of Brooks game is his running he allows that Hastings might not be the fastest or best player going around but he seems like the type of player you want in your team especially now he has the chip off his shoulders. He was my MOM Brooks wasn’t far behind but I’ve always thought Brooks looked to be a better 6 than a 7.

Yeah he definitely played well. I'm keen to see Dias come into the side. Seems to be much more mobile than Musgrove + Makaele.

I very much doubt that will be an issue if he performs. If we want him to stay he will.

I don't. Let's see how he goes over the course of the season before we start talking extensions.

November is after the season ends, we should be able to gauge things by Round 16-20 and then kick start talks if needed giving plenty of time to wrap him up. It's not as though we will have a shortage of cash either to spend on halves with Brooks & AD coming off the books after next year as well (apparently based on media reports AD is on 650k and Brooks on more - backload).
