Wests Tigers Coaches

And bloody Garner, wtf I say we use his spot for a Matts.

Noddy should take a hard line with player traitors.

I don’t mind if we let them go or it’s the Titans, but anybody out on the [This word has been automatically removed], schmoozing around with a better placed club needs to be severely punished.

And on the titanic;

If we have to face the cold and icy waters of the North Atlantic, the players better suit up because they are coming down with us.

So far as I am concerned, women and Hastings first, other than that, no bastard gets out alive.

@stryker 69 and I will still try to drown each other once we hit the water.l!

I hear the Dogs are after him also but find it strange he has not toured Dogs yet or it's not been announced to media etc.. If they wanted him surely it would of happened by now so my gut feeling is he doesn't want to go there and maybe we are a chance.. IF we are no chance he would not of toured etc.. Fingers crossed
Dont be surprised if Potter ends up the NRL coach at the dogs....he is a smart man and after todays win Gould might have to change his way of thinking, mainly because the team really wanted to play for him...

The Wests Tigers have sold a strong pitch to Penrith assistant coach Cameron Ciraldo by giving the NRL coach-in-waiting a guided tour of the club’s soon to be opened Centre of Excellence at Concord.

Foxsports.com.au has learned Ciraldo met with Wests Tigers key powerbrokers Tim Sheens and chairman Lee Hagipantelis on Monday.

Four-time premiership-winning coach Sheens sold the Tigers vision about the club being an NRL sleeping giant – with the catch being they need the right development coach to bring through the next generation of juniors.

Panthers assistant Ciraldo is the Tigers no.1 choice with the club having already discussed making a five-year offer to try and seal the deal.

Sheens and Hagipantelis led the Wests Tigers sales pitch with CEO Justin Pascoe also in attendance.

Ciraldo finds himself the most sought-after coach-in-waiting in the NRL with Canterbury-Bankstown also keen to try and land his signature.

The Tigers sales pitch revolves around why Ciraldo is the right fit for an organisation which has failed to make the finals since Sheens was last coach in 2011.

The Western Suburbs Magpies won the club’s first-ever Harold Matthews premiership earlier this year with Sheens renowned for being one of the best eyes in the game when it comes to emerging talent.

Ciraldo now has a major decision to make with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs still pitching to try and convince him to join the Belmore-based club next year.

Ciraldos just blown out to $12.00

I'm not saying that you are either, but if you have two candidates in front of you and one doesn't have experience and the other has experience with a good amount of success who is the smart money on?
Would you say Bellamy was the earlier version of Ciraldo? I think the Tigers had a crack at Bellamy prior to him going to Melbourne but missed out. Maybe this is the Tigers way of not letting history repeat.

I watched 360 tonight to which they said that Ciraldo has already toured and spoken to bulldogs, and by there reports he was very impressed with what was presented. Hooper also said that today was tigers turn to showcase. A very difficult decision ahead for him, I almost feel sorry for the bloke, Gus or the nrl basketcase in us. I think personally our roster will be a turn off,on the other hand Gus has the mantra for coach sacking, so I think it's going to be a flip of a coin for me.

CC will knock us back , believe what you want hear what you want , he ant coming hear , Sheens is heading for the oh shit corner , second picks start to take shape soon

The club currently has a stink about it. What are the factors that cause a stink / help remove it:

- club and board (is it divisive or unified, finances, leadership, attracting sponsorship, facilities (eg COE), culture.

- football operations: pathways, recruitment, support of coaches and players.

- coach (and assistants): reputation, also recruitment, man management, culture, coaching ability, tactics.

- players: fitness, commitment, desire, professionalism, passion, synergy with each other, ability, culture.

- fans: do they come to games, member numbers, passion, positivity / negatively on forums.

- media: do they write positive or negative articles (as an aside I see this as really important in turning around a stink. If the fans are negative, how do you expect players to want to come? Media also feeds off that stuff and their reporting is key to building a good or bad reputation).

All the above are what contribute to your brand. Right now I’d say our only pass marks are: finances, COE, and pathways…and maybe potential.

So in terms of a potential next coach what appointment would be the biggest strike for the club? What would bring positive media, fan hope, player development potential, the best ability to attract some new good signings, etc. I’d say that is (whether it is rightly deserved or not) the hottest name on the market. Ciraldo. It would be a coup if he chose us and would be a feather in our cap. Might also play a big role in tackling some of the points above that help remove the stink.

Not to say he is destined to succeed (or any of the potential coaches for that matter), but being the club to land the man most in demand would certainly improve our brand overnight.

Whoever comes in though I will support and dare to dream that we can build some sustainable success.

I don’t think he’ll take the job either. Can see this being another Bellamy situation.

None. Just going with @TSP odds
Was starting to feel like we are a chance but so used to been let down I think even Morris will knock us back now... If CC doesn't come with a 5 year deal, New COE, Plenty of flex in cap moving forward, Adding Api and Papa it won't end pretty unfortunately.

CC will watch a few our past Games, look at our roster and make some phone calls to Past players and coaching staff.

Than it will be the usual, thanks but no thanks. It will be back to the list and start moving down. One things for certain, Flano will say yes if we get desperate
