Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

From the DT:

TIGERS PLAN ANOTHER PANTHERS RAID

Wests Tigers are expected to make a play for Penrith’s Charlie Staines. Staines has been on the outer at the Panthers having lost his first grade squad to impressive youngster Taylan May. A natural fullback, he has only played one of his 32 top grade games at the back.

The Tigers view him as a potential long-term fullback option with Staines still having a year to run on his contract. He impressed on his Test debut for Samoa playing at fullback.

Despite falling out of the top side, Staines said he remained committed to the Panthers.

“That’s footy, I’m getting a run in (NSW) Cup,” Staines said. “I’m still loving footy. I’m trying to play my best footy.

“I’m very happy at Penrith. I’m contracted there until the end of next year but I’m happy at the moment. Whatever happens, happens.”
Another beat up. Not 2 weeks ago he was offering himself to the tigers not the other way around. "Expected to make a play" code for half arsed verbal diarrhea.

Yet we apparently didn't want him a couple of weeks ago when he shopped himself to us? These journalists are purely guessing. When we get our new coach, we will know soon after.

If we lose tummeth I’ll be fumming. we have let go 3 half decent second row options because we apparently have a good jrs comming through in that position he is clearly 1 of them get the deal done for Christ sake
It’s harder than you think. There’s a lot ins, a lot of outs, a lot of what have you’s.

Yea, throwing darts. That's what NRL jurnos do best. I wouldn't be ruling out Dykes as a potential signing especially if Morris is WT new coach.

Yeah if we get Morris, you would think a few Sharks players who had a bit to do with him are a chance. Potentially a few Bunnies players in their ranks at the moment too.

Hopefully get our coaching situation sorted soon and we can then start seeing some movement both in and out of the club.

This is a complete fabrication by the DT so when he doesn’t sign with us they can beat us up as having lost another signing….
