Official: Three Life Members to lead coaching succession plan

Many people will criticise this decision, however I'd 100% prefer a club legend like Benji by a mile, will put the time & effort, cares about the club, will have everything to prove. Benji is the bloke development kids look up to, over other some old fart journeyman footy coach who is just looking for another pay cheque. I support this decision.

Sheens/Board sacked Madge because they couldn’t see him being there in 3 years time 🤔 or that’s what was released and we needed a development coach 🙄

Couldn’t get the development coach they wanted so Sheens signs on for 2 years as coach.

Benji signs on for 3 years beyond sheens term, unfortunately no one knows what sort of coach he is or if he can even coach.

Fittler got spat out when he started at the Roosters with their unlimited resources.

Best of luck at the tigers Benji

I can’t see any of them being here in 3 years time

I have recorded before Sheens wouldn’t be here in 3 years as he was just the board buffer to failure

Now they have lined up Benji to be the next fall guy as well

Protect the Board buffoons at all cost.

I think you'll be correct.

This was in a DT article about the three amigos taking over.

Farah will be appointed an assistant for the next two years but has ambition to transition into a football management role.
Do you speak the African Tigre language @tigre ?

Some of you whingers need
to logout & take a breather lol

We've tried x5 coaches before...
None have worked out. I'm happy
to give the old boys a go - who
cares about what happened 10+
years ago or who got fired when.

These 3 care about the club and
will help to recruit & retain players
and also provide better optics in
relation to the media. We've got
nothing to lose, only was is up.
Strap in buckeroos, giddy up haha

It has nothing at all to do with the fans not accepting losing.

Yes, it does as Pascoe and co. know most of our fans will be happy coming 15th as long as club legends such as Sheens, Benji, and Robbie are involved.

This is basically a PR exercise as there will clearly be no consequences for poor performance in the next few years.

Mate that is drawing a massively long bow there. I can basically guarantee you are wrong. This clubs needs wins and a lot more wins and I'm sure they all know it.

There is an argument that the first part of your statement is correct. I'm hopeful that the new coaching set-up works. I don't think Madge deserved to get sacked and I'd like to think the club/board/CEO don't sack Benji unless it's obvious the coach is the issue and not the squad.

If it's obvious the coach is an issue he can get punted. He also only gets 3 years. Madge was here for 3.5 years.

Anyway at the end of the day it's got nothing at all to do with the fans.

The Dolphins must be eyeing up a Benji move to an assistant coaching position as well. We have totally trumped them 😂😂😂

Do they?

Say we finish in the bottom two or bottom four for the next 2 years.

What happens?

Brown is a funny one. I can't remember how far he got at the Dragons but from memory all 3 of his tenures at Dragons, Knights and Warriors have been quite unsuccessful. He seems like a nice bloke and someone who understands players and games. I wonder if he wasn't thrust into the Head Coach role if he spent more time coaching Juniors, was he more likely to succeed?
He got the Dragons to a couple prelim finals.
