My brother is selling one of his properties at the moment, Cooks Hill apartment.

He said the agent mentioned they've shown an out of town rugby league player a few properties within the last few weeks.

Didn't mention names but this agent only deals with high priced properties.

Makes ya wonder eh.

It would be Peter Parr plus the new coach. Anyone contemplating a move to the Knights would have put up the not interested sign by now.

Newcastle need an organising 7 much what we were hoping he would be. Brooks would be walking from the frying pan into the fire. He would be going as a player looking to resurrect his career and they are a club looking for a player to resurrect their position. If the attraction is to work with Johns his impact on the current halves has been hardly inspiring. I believe it when I see it.

Newcastle will be getting really desperate, if we can frontload Brooks 2023 with the nofo and gildart money and replace with Madden this hit on our 2023 cap will be manageable.
What we won't have is depth if we get injuries to Hastings or douhie etc
Think we might be able to play handball with Newcastle around brooks and make them pay 700k of his 2023 salary and if we can frontload say 200k then the hit on Brooks salary for 2023 is about 200k (plus whatever we sign Madden for say 250k) so all up 500k

I though dragons could move Hunt to 9 and look at Brooks at 7
