Ur correct digger blue , he has played very little over the last 3 years , wish people would do there research before bagging the club .To be fair Blore was always injured at Penrith also.

I don't know how they would fit in a rotation but I would not like Stef, Papalali'i and Pole running at me in succession. If we want top 4 or even top 8 next year it's simple just recruit 3 powerforwards similar to Papalii .They must be able to crash thru the advantage line. Also recruit 2 centers like Ramien or Olam as our centers not up to it .
Well easier said than done I want 5 recruits and how are we doing so far ?
So Far zero ! What worries me is I think Tim and Benji have been trying but no luck so far . Maybe November ?
I believe blaming one player for the failings of the club is a bit harsh. I am happy for Sheens to determine his worth. So good that he hasn't played finals in 9 years.
He has deficiencies in his game and it doesn't matter who is coaching, they seem to still be there.
500k
I hope your right $1.8 mill over 3 years better than $2.3 mill its just I read somewhere the proposed $2.3 mill. If he accepts the 1.8 than given he is legally entitled to the 1.1 for next year he would be adding 2 years for an extra 350k pa .hope you are rightThat's incorrect.
If we were to extend him it would be something like
2023 600k
2024 600k
2025 600k
He gets the benefit of length of contract, we get to spread out his value evenly across all seasons.
Even at 600k he's overpaid. 500k would be about right considering the levels his kicking game and general confidence has deteriorated too.
Spot on mate. I don't understand the tendency in some posters to want to discredit POM.
the whole reason we would ask him to sign an extension immediately (and not just tag on 2 years extension to his existing contract) is so we don't take the one huge over priced hit in one year's salary cap. whatever we offer it will be across 3 years at roughly the same money each year.I hope your right $1.8 mill over 3 years better than $2.3 mill its just I read somewhere the proposed $2.3 mill. Joey Johns would flat out refuse to play with our forwards I would be prepared to wager.
Mbye was a turnstyle, afraid of phisical contact!Brooks on 950k-1mill not a good buy... Brooks on 650k good buy!
It all comes down to value.
Most of us wouldn't have minded Mbye on 400k.
He was a poor defender at times but he did not shy away from contactMbye was a turnstyle, afraid of phisical contact!
It is what it is....
Jacob wasn't a fan of Madge or his coaching.
IMHO, Brooks is not a good buy even at 150k!

IP is going to set a very high benchmark next year. That bloke is a powerhouse that never stops. I think Pole is of the same mind set, as is Joffa and Stef when he's right. Hopefully, big units like Musgrave can follow suit or at least be shamed into having a proper go. If we manage to snare Klemmer or Leniu or both, I'd be very happy with that lot. He'd certainly remind them how shit they are....
In the least.
Preaching to the converted man....
Heard a bloke ring the Radio the other day (Fan of another team)
was bagging our forwards - How they always turn their back, Don't work off the ball - Never chase kicks etc. etc. etc...
If I see it, As a fan - And he sees it as a casual observer - Surely the coaching staff see it?
There'd be half a dozen clubs interested if he was given permission to look elsewhere. Including us.Dolphins coach Wayne Bennett is keeping a close eye on Newcastle centre Bradman Best.
Sport Confidential can reveal Best is on the radar of the Dolphins amid speculation the hulking Newcastle ace is under pressure to lift his game at the Knights.
The 21-year-old last year signed a three-year deal with the Knights and was hailed as a possible NSW Origin bolter after an eye-catching 2020 season that saw him score eight tries from 11 appearances.
But Best has struggled to produce his best form over the past 18 months. There are concerns about his attitude, which reared its head last month when Best was stood down for Newcastle’s clash against Canberra after he was late to the team bus following a loss to the Broncos.
Bennett has not made any approach to Best, but if the Knights are open to an early release, is it understood the super coach would consider a Dolphins lifeline for the hard-running centre. (DT)

In his last season with us he actively avoided it.He was a poor defender at times but he did not shy away from contact
Waste of money! Not sure he has the attitude or commitment our club is afterDolphins coach Wayne Bennett is keeping a close eye on Newcastle centre Bradman Best.
