Thats the problem with all the halves we have. A couple of good points and a couple of negatives. in fact that is why we are going to play all 3 at once as by selecting all 3 you get what you need from your halves. No combination of only 2 is good enough

I did hear Jacko say in an interview( a while ago) that Sheens asked him to play 13 so it would seem that will be his position, unless something changes.

Reckon Adam did have a look in the mirror a few weeks ago.

To see him chase down that Dragons player was something that I didn't think that he had in him, both the effort in the long run and wanting to be that player looking to see where he might be needed defensively, despite the play being on the other side of the field.

Sure, he needed to stand up after the diabolical effort and lack,of it a week or so prior, and he did. Showing something that he had almost always lacked, which previously had me questioning others for their praise of his want and leader qualities.

He can make a bust plus his kicking game is pretty good. He doesn't have a long kicking game but his short kicking game is better than all our other options.
 
Has AD had a full preseason training at fullback? Didn't he come from Souths with a desire to play at the back?
The only thing that I don't like about this is his speed or lack thereof.
Being tall he would be good at the back with ken and toa to defuse bombs and he can wind up to a reasonable speed.
I just think Adam is not going to be the superstar at ⅝ that we are hoping. He is a game changer and must be in our backline somewhere imo.

He 100% is not a fullback.
 
he's a running centre - I don't think he can really ball play - yes he did a few try assist earlier on when he was new with us but that kinda stopped, the position for him is centre and I think that's where he will blossom, he's not quick but he can break tackles - he needs to learn quickly how to tackle properly though - one on ones he misses and we saw this when he was playing fullback

I think his best position is centre, he did spsnd a season at the Tigers as a FB. He was very safe as a fullback but that was it, he was too slow which led to him being caught out of position a few times and was unable to take advantage of opportunities due to the lack of pace.

Yep he looks like a centre especially when he runs straight.
The point I was eluding to is...lets say there was no other position he could play but fullback, do you think he could be a better player if he had the whole preseason to develop, get some speed and metres in those legs and get some serious coaching. Get Hodgo back since he's been sacked and mentor him???
I nearly sold that fullback is not the go but I need a kick to get me to drop it 😹

If the only option was to play him at fullback, I would release him tomorrow.

Now that didn't help one iota. Facts son, solid raw hard fact is what I need! 😂.
My only regret is not seeing him play at F/B.
However Cochise, you have the opinion of many on the forum so the verdict is out, centre it is.
