Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

He's an edge not a 13. Hasn't shown
A whince of ball playing ability.
Comparing his game to Murray
And Radley is a wild assessment
The point is you were trying to say back rowers who are 6 foot tall and weigh close to 100kgs are too small.
I’m telling you someone who is 6 foot tall, weighs around 100kgs, has good fitness levels and plays very aggressively is much more valuable than the many giants who are lazy, have low stamina and are only good for short stints.

Madge got 1 win from those 3 games. What if he had got say 2 wins? Would he have made a case to hang on to his job?
Imo not a bit, especially if it came with the injury to one of our true potential stars.
But that would depend on who made the decision to keep/ release Madge.
Reading on another thread it says that Madge pushed him to play and Sheens was most unhappy about what that did to Stef, longer term.
It’s all about sacrificing people to achieve your goals, happens all the time. Not right but it’s the nature of the business. I wouldn’t do it because I always liked to look at all the repercussions before making a final decision( in the business I was in) but worked with plenty of people who did what they thought they needed to do to get results.
And they were lauded for it. Go figure.

I love what Kent said if true... Our CEO doing his job and saying what us fans want to hear.. You come or you sit out and it's that simple. Sounds like the Eels are moving on as well

I have no problem added Brown either as that another aggressive forward..

Not reading too much onto the Munster comment but you never know if you never try..
Pascoe 2018.
"Under no circumstances will we be granting Ivan Cleary a release. He has got a contract with this club until 2020, we're building something special here and we want that to continue."

I'll pay that my man. Not death riding
Him in the least, just a bit skeptical
You do bring up fair points though.

Are we all taking that Munster comment as a swipe ?

I didn't take it that way.
Thought it sounded positive.

Thoughts?

I did too you know. Can't believe
The comments but understand
Cause we've been done dirty b4

I saw we gave Blorey a modest extension yesterday.

I’m not sure if I mentioned it here or elsewhere but a mate saw him at Penrith earlier in the year and said he was a big unit and still looking fresh.

Same mate saw Haynesy this week and said he was looking massively overweight. Big fat pork chop, massive ballon face, with his beaut kid in an expensive pram thing (probably diamond encrusted, with turbo charger).

All that said, the state of NSW has spent a fortune trying to nail him to no avail and I’m thinking it’s getting stale. No I don’t support violence against women, I ‘Ken hate it and every month I work in a role that supports victims (usually women).

But three goes seems a bit unfair. Most villians only have to face the court once.

You could pump the $400k plus they will spend trying to nail him on the alleged victim, womens shelters, poor folk who can’t afford things, disabled kids and their families etc.

Or those pensioners who can’t afford proper electricity, people who can’t afford a vet for a beloved sick animal.

He’s done some time and his name is mud anyway.

In all of the circumstances, trying to lock him up again so he can be chief laundry master seems pointless.

So Rothfield thinks we tried keeping quiet about an interest In Nathan Brown because of fear Parramatta could offer Papalii a few more dollars 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Honestly, the standard of rugby league journalism in this city is diabolical.
