Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

After reading this I feel like he’s waiting for roosters to clear there cap and sign with them
Yep. No doubt doing their season review why we speak. Players wear the blame at the Roosters and if they want the best in Munster this will be the only opportunity. The increase in the salary cap will allow them to fit him in - no questions asked.

2023, Onitoni will be U/16’s and Ashton will be U/15’s.

Onitoni will play his first year of Harold Matt’s for Wests in 2023.
Have we got any 19 or 20 year olds of same class and x factor who might help us make the 8 next year . Good on these youngsters and 2028 will look forward to their debuts in nrl

I find it interesting his comments, I just don't want to look into things much at all as I give us no hope but geez it's actually giving a vibe we aren't out of the picture if we are willing to splurge on him if he really wants to set his family up.

His being competitive comment is also interesting. If we break things down - if he moves it probably changes the sequence of which club potentially finishes infront of each other.

* Storm have a big chunk of their starting forward pack leaving (Broms x 2, Kafusi, Smith)
* The Dolphins have recruited well in the forwards but lack quality around the halves and backs, we do better at Hooker also.
* Getting Api and Papa + having a bunch of money to spend to support Munster makes us in some level competitive roster wise with the others.

Just find it all interesting when the comments are made.

Now back to thinking we have zero chance or hope.

"It is believed the Tigers are also making a $7 million play for Munster's services"

AKA, I am just making shit up and dishing it out to you.

Only way I could see $7M would be if its a mega 5yr deal at roughly $1.4m a year
That would take him through till he is 33.

$1.4M a year is alot, would be a record for a player to spend but geez someone like a Munster changes our dynamics instantly especially matched with Api.

The sad thing about this thread is we waste time dreaming about pie in the sky signings, i.e.Munster and Co, which have very, very minimal chance of happening whilst we lose sight of forcing Pascoe, Sheens and Lee to approach NRL about the disgrace he is ready to bucket the club with.
Pascoe, Sheens and Lee have not shown any guts to do this and because of thiw Wests Tigers are heading to oblivion in the very near future.
