Let's let go of Hastings because he's missing a yard of pace, for a guy who is quick but offers nothing.

May as well sign JAC and put him in at halfback if that's the case.

I remember him touching the ball multiple times when he played 7 and not setting much up at all. It would have been preferable for the team for him to touch the ball less. I guess Sheens sees it this way as well.

I've always been impressed by George Williams. I believe he did well at the Raiders.

He can't defend well, the inside centre catches a cold playing outside of him because he doesn't pass and his high bombs are effective when they land, his short kicking game not so much. Plus he is not that quick. Other than that, he has all the attributes of a 5/8.

Sheens probably wants Brooks 7 AD 6 and happy to let Hastings go and pick up a 13

There'd be some options.

The reports saying he's looking for 7s whilst helping out the Italian side.

Might not be doing anything but catching up with friends.

This part of the year is always interesting...

Might end up with no one and roll out the Jacko and AD pairing with a journeyman like Albert Kelly as backup.

He hasn't re-signed. I don't believe he has demonstrated loyalty to the club which resurrected his NRL career. We have fantastic options in Matamua and Faagutu moving forward. We should not get into a bidding war for him or Doueihi.

Good to see he has waited until October to get off his arse and sort out the halfback situation.
I believe he will start working on upgrading the pack in February.

Brooks is gone, best thing for him and the club, you have to give it to him, the other 3 left and he stayed, at least he showed loyalty, it just hasn't worked our behind an under performing Team. Hasting is the one they need to keep, when he was at 7 he was the only one constantly talking and directing the Team, he would be a massive loss.

It won't change my opinion on Doueihi or Hastings. If Brooks chooses to leave I am happy for him to play out his career at the Knights. George Williams would be a fine replacement for him.
