AD will have to be involved with a lot of those wins if we make the top 8...he can demand 900k ...but has to earn the right to demand that much...

Agree. Just to put things into perspective with his win ratio of 29% over 2yrs
If we bump our win % buy his 38% to match his asking price we need him to win us 12+ games a year over the next 2yrs which in 2021 would've got us 7th spot, in 2022 10th.

If he was off contract, played most games during the season and won the CM in 2023 his asking price wouldn't be 850k it would probably be 1.5m and rightfully so.

My biggest fear for all this is if he wants to back himself whilst do his own dealings himself it will take a large mental toll on him especially if we struggle early on in the season.

Be an interesting test for Benji & Sheens as they will need to manage him mentally very very well over the next few months. If we are any chance of getting off the bottom of the ladder we need him inform during 23.
