You cannot go into the nrl with 2 slow players as your halves . Whilst AD deludes himself , and kills his market , hastings like sooo many before him eg. Rangi Chase , is an excellent reserve grader / SL half .
So you have to go in with a good not great half , because all the great ones are playing for 4-5 clubs .

He is a poor mans Jack Wighton. I'd go between 800 and 900k for Wighton but no way for Douehi.

We keep persisting with him until a better 7 comes along . And if it’s as demps says and they’re in the club . Well the sooner the better . But until then , there’s 1 half in lower grades in Hawkins who anyone even thinks is nrl ready and isn’t like a Nikorima type been tried before .
Contrary to popular belief I’m not a brooks lover , I just think he’s better than half the nrl . It doesn’t mean i like that fact . But when you have lemons you have to make lemonade !
The best halves coming through are happy to bide thier time for the roosters reserve grade .
The system is broke . But Hastings just isn’t a half in 2022 . He can game manage but that is it ! This past season should be enough of a red flag on this but somehow it’s reinforced the opposite for most of you. I don’t get it .
 
Sad state of affairs for Aussie RL when lead stories are around a bottom tier team taking a questionably average player as a second choice, when they couldn’t get their original first choice average player, from the wooden spooners and it’s like it’s of earth shattering importance.
Reinforces the real or perceived power and value of WT click bait media strategy.

It’s also a commentary on how there’s a lack of quality in this current generations halves .

Try reading his posts please, as he has obviously been watching this team in some form for decades. Even making comparisons to players from the last millennium in posts you reference.

I haven't notice any clubs apart from the dolphins doing much in the player market.

And who are you to judge Bryce,,,,the conversation never included you....he has stated he isnt new....I still keep my same account and name so I can be honest with all of you and myself ...I dont care who he keeps mentioning,he keeps drilling the same stuff into us and we who have been with the club since inception are quite entitled to our opinion ,,,,
