Am I the only one who is loving this? I feel like the odd man out.

Brooks has had several coaches who stifled his game. Potter (slightly), Taylor and Madge all had them playing in shackles. Cleary, when he brought back our flair, took him to a Daly M. I for one want to see Brooks under sheens and benji. Even better if we bring Mitch back... It will return the Tigers soul and start to focus on OUR players and development again.

We shouldn't be pointing the finger at these guys all the time. There was some real mess at the club too. It's just that they were young and didn't handle it maturely.

We are going to need to show commitment to the players from our heartlands if we want the same in return from our up-and-coming juniors. We've lost that over the past few years.

You're not alone. There are a few of us who know the club has done exceptionally well to recruit the quality of player we have for next year especially with Redcliffe entering the competition and the increase in salary cap.

Nah I think the arguements have changed from Balmain vs wests to Brooks supporters vs haters.

I’m expecting or at least hoping a change of fortune for us.

The good thing for me is sheens is looking for a controlling half. And doesn’t expect brooks to play that role, this is what I was worried about. But the fact that he’s looking at signing Moses, tells me he knows what he’s doing! I don’t like that slimy turd. But great to see sheens and co know the skill set of their players. More than I can say for Fadge.

I agree but I'm still cautiously optimistic. Those forwards need to perform yet and the pack will also need to remain injury/suspension free as there is not much quality depth.

Overall, I think POM's update this is pretty good news. Hastings had a voice but I never saw him a threat with the ball. I am still concerned with a lack of a game manager and don't believe Brooksy is that player. I suppose that leaves AD but he hasn't shown much in that area either.

I think we will be more competitive next year but that lack of game management will cost us.
