Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Nothing wrong with people posting up what they've heard whether right or wrong IMO. But why someone would feel the need to justify their status is odd. Pretty sure there is no Dally M's for oil clairvoyance on here

I really like Hastings as a person, much like I liked Josh Reynolds.

But he's not the player that was going to take us where we need to be. Still hope he goes another level at the Knights. Good luck to him.
That's the point a few people are missing. He isn't the one to take us deep in the finals. The other two halves arnt either.

I'm happy with the trade. Klemmar won't slack off. He's not that type of player. He's competitive as on the field.

We are putting together a very formidable pack and have done it in quick time. We wont get walked over through the middle now, a little bit more strike in the backs and i reckon we'll surprise a few next year.
Considering our prop rotation:
Klemmer/Twal then Utoikmanu/Pole
Taking into account probable injuries, who are the next two in line? Joe and Seyfarth? I reckon we are still a prop short...please dont say its going to be Woods!

Pascoe is honestly such a [This word has been automatically removed]wit... "we do not apologise for these decisions" you mean him & lee's collective decisions over the years that led us to our first ever spoon. These guys are a cancer to our club & need to be gone ASAP.
Don't have to go. Just need to not be anywhere near the football department.

Or the media everyday for that matter

What about fainu. Is he any good

look at what Moses did with that Parramatta forward pack.
We are building just as good a pack here at Tigers.
If we can sign Moses at 7 and move Brooks to 6, he can play that Dylan brown type of role at 6

A massively overlooked thing from the end of the 2011 season we sometimes forget, imo the biggest reason for the 2012 disaster was that moron Robert Lui belting his missus in the off season and being sacked by the club. We lost the halfback who we finished in the top 4 with twice, with him around Benji could just play eyes up footy and won the golden boot, Benji was dynamic. After Lui was sacked Benji tried to fill the organiser role but struggled. Lui was the one responsible imo for that shocking 2012 season.
Don’t forget that was an injury riddled season aswell

As much as i think Moses is a tool he'd be our best option at HB he's a goal kicker and game manager. Him or Williams even next season would be cherry on top of the cake, with a strike centre or a better FB.

agree, I don't like Moses as a personality but he can play football and goal kicker.

The club is probably banking on friendship with Brooks to get deal across the line and likewise lure of playing with Moses again for Brooks to take a lesser deal (with long service discount of 170k applied)

Problem with Williams is he has a 2 year deal to run at Wigan and if Bateman was a 250k transfer then Williams could be 500k

True, but there wasnt anything we could do about it. He was going for a better all round deal that only somewhere like Roosters / Raiders could provide. Remember we almost lost him to Raiders before he went at the next opportunity to Raiders- his only loyalty was to himself not WT for all the perseverance we put up with in his early stages of injury and rehab. We were just a means to an end.
I don't disagree with any of that.
We were powerless at the time and that is perhaps the tragedy; that we didn't present an opportunity for success, a culture worth staying in, or competitive $ offer.

Sadly, nothing has changed. If anything, we are now even less desirable.

Here's hoping it changes.
