Sheens seemed to have juniors flowing through regularly. Marshall, farah, Fulton, Lawrence, fafita, woods, brooks, Moses etc..

I can't remember our last decent junior that wasn't established in sheens era.

He can identify and develop tallent, that's for sure.

Sheens was great at the juniors. Gotta give him that at least. Had 2 pretty handy batches of kids coming through in his tenure. The 2002/3 cubs were mint and then the 2011/2 average cubs, but you're right, massive neglect since 2013. Besides the few blokes that made debut this year and maybe at a push the Liddle, Marsters, Milone 2015 NYC team, I cant think of any players of note since those last lot of juniors, Brooks, Moses, Nofa, Lovett era. Maybe Pap if he didnt go to Melbourne?

I would think it would take 600k+ and the years he wants to secure him. He's a current international with a successful NRL stint with the Raiders. Regardless of his current English form he has the runs on the board.
IMO Bateman is what we lacked this year...a live wire, tough, cocky and footy smart forward.
It's one thing to be tough, talented and energetic but to have the confidence to display all those attributes is another thing.

Reckon Brooks will love playing behind this pack.

Not only behind them but with them. People don’t realise how many more options he’ll have when defenders need to honour a Papali’i or a Bateman out wide. Our second rowers have been bog average for years.
