Halfbacks are usually the shortest in a team. Can’t see that being correct unless he’s standing on something.

Oh yeah 100% agree, all I'm saying is there's no guarantee it's with us though would appear likely based on all the chatter and that we're the only club that's been spoken of in any potential move back to the NRL for him.Id be shocked if it wasnt already done just announcement pending, you dont uproot your life put your house on the market without some certainty.
Herbi instant yesIn terms of English blokes that were/are being looked at
Were: James Bentley, Mike Cooper , Tommy Makinson
Are being looked at : Morgan Knowles, George Williams, Herbie Farnworth
He needs match fitness before anything. Reserves for 6-8 rounds.I can't see where talau fits in
Lock? Backrow? Utility?

He'll have the off-season. All players return needing a few games to get match fit again. He'll be on level footing. I'd like to see him and Naden in the centres, or him and AD, if they do move Laurie to 5/8. Either way, he's a big body and could do a job there. He needs match fitness before anything. Back row or centre.
I feel Sheens prob cracked it and told Lee to pull his head in and stay out of all recruitment/retention discussions with the media. Has definitely begun to work in our favour.Appreciation post to WT management and or Recruitment team.
I have to say how refreshing it is to be hearing of potential signings in the media having all the unofficial suggested reports being detailed in articles and not once has it been addressed by the club.
Meaning they are just rumours until confirmed.
Much nicer to be in this situation then we were previously where we were trying to sign Latrell Mitchell and JAC and you couldn’t go a day without the club updating you on their status only to lose out to silent bidders.
The following have been signed without comment from the club prior.
Api
IP
Peach swap for Stains
Smith (train and trial)
Hastings swap for Klem.
Small comment re Munster and missed out. (Happens)
No confirmation of talks with Bateman, Woods, Brown, Tedesco or Moses.
At this stage all just speculation until proven otherwise.
The way it should be!
Fairly sure we'll get the Bateman news very soon. I'm saying Monday, what's that 72 hours? It’s Friday….surely an announcement or some more juices rumours from @THE_POM @CloudyGlock @Chris @Lee's fedora or anyone else
I admittedly did not see much of him at all prior to coming to the tiges, but what was it that made you think he would be a success?Yep right here...
Yeah I remember that game.... The first half was near 40 minutes of perfection... Was Unbelievable
Yeah he has some handling issues and is raw at stages but he is big and tries hard. He'll have the off-season. All players return needing a few games to get match fit again. He'll be on level footing. I'd like to see him and Naden in the centres, or him and AD, if they do move Laurie to 5/8. Either way, he's a big body and could do a job there.
One half of a superhero ....Twal and Huth ..together they are the TwuthSorry I'm a bit slow who's Twuth?
We still need a decent back. 1-7 I'm still not convinced.Fairly sure we'll get the Bateman news very soon. I'm saying Monday, what's that 72 hours?
Sweetener ...just use white sugar .....An announcement as early as next week could contain information regarding John Bateman. This announcement just might contain a little sweetener if everything goes to plan over the weekend.
Players Daine Laurie, Adam Doueihi, and Alex Seyfarth have not had their contracts extended for now, Tim believes and is hoping this might get a response from certain players.
In regards to Brooks, Hastings and Newcastle, both Tim and Benji both believe they can get more out of Brooks rather than Hastings. Also Hastings wanted an upgrade in his contract to which the Tigers declined but Newcastle agreed to.
Ken Maumalo still struggling on his knee after off season surgery, both Shawn Blore and Tommy Talau who missed most of last season but both players are looking pretty fit and ready to go, particularly Tommy, he has put some extra bulk and and would be tipping over 100kgs easily.
All the new kids on trial and train contracts are all trying their hardest to impress coaches Sheens and Marshall. Also at training are Will Smith and Charlie Staines. Watching Staines he is rather quick, quicker than i thought.
Any talk of trying to lure George WilliamsAn announcement as early as next week could contain information regarding John Bateman. This announcement just might contain a little sweetener if everything goes to plan over the weekend.
