Lots of league fans judge players as they would an experienced adult.

We are talking about kids in their early and mid-20’s and expecting them to act and behave perfectly without the immaturity of youth.

Some fans are setting themselves up for disappointment if they expect players to always do and say the correct things while also allowing for enough subjectivity to make everyone happy.

Hey Chad i think your first post about wood is probably correct. Culture & love for the club is where the key lies i believe. Teddy loves money , not this club. It would be funny though if the Rorters booted him for Suuali. Loyalty cant be bought, a lesson Teddy needs to learn the hard way. Geat player , in fact one of the top 2 fullbacks i have seen play the game. But for me, doesnt deserve the honour to ever represent the Tigers again.

Don’t agree, as I have alluded to previously, I believe Moses and his uncle where the brains behind the big 4 defection. Woods and turdesco are the dumb scape goats in this hole mess. Look not keen on him taking a valuable spot in the 30. But as a back up front rower with a point to prove, is not bad value and option for us! I am in, poor Sharon, give him a last chance! He’s Balmain born and bred!
 
Instead of adding Woods, we shall say NO to Twal and Seyfarth, we need two way players, if they cannot/don't want to play in the attack they can play defence in the NFL.

Look Agreed.

Woods as an outside top 30 player Or extra bench prop which we lack is a good signing. Not talking big money.

That said, and others will hate me for saying this....
Andrew Fifita is a better signing IMHO for this.

Fifita is not good enough to start for Cronulla, but that's Cronulla. He has witnessed how that side has built from a nothing side that got run over to how Gallen, Lewis and others trained them up. Yes Woods was there but he came later.

Not saying break the bank... But a loose change "trial and train" would add depth to the front pack. Even if they were signed outside the 30. (which would suit woods).

We need to upgrade our pack massively. 2022 was us getting run over most games.

Yes just agree with few on here, that woods as backup, backup is better than most in that price range! Every team needs one like that, might come off, might not…
