I have thought. How would Brooks feel if Mitch rejects us for the Dogs or Eels. Doesn't take a mind reader to know that Brooks has some envy for how Mitchell's career improved when they separated while he has failed to live up to his potential. And now, when Mitchell has a chance to lend his friend a helping hand to try and turn the club they came through together around, he chooses not to.

Don't think he'll take it very well

He'd be a shit friend if he begrudges him success. I doubt he'd be like that.

I watched training one day last week and Jahream Bula is a standout. As fast as Staines and a beautiful mover, tall enough, great hands. I don't think we'll be chasing a fullback for 2024.

I get what Elias is saying about Mitch staying , but I think out of us and The slimmers over the next couple years I see up finishing above them from season 23 , singing with us would be better , I think there will be a few clubs drop unexpectedly, I throw in the panthers , runners up then winners , I see them still very competitive but no GF for them next year , Eels and Panthers shock drops , if we sign Bateman I think we go top 8 with Brooks and AD in the half’s , letttss goo

We aren’t currently playing the same sport Parra and Panthers are.

Couple of the indigenous kids look alright. There's some tanks in the forwards. TT looks great. Might be his year, training with the backs. It's a big backline if we've got TT, Naden, Ken, Tupou. Naden is very quick too. Didn't sight AJ. Bula though, he's a star athlete. If he can play footy he could be anything. Bloke can fly I reckon. I can see why AD and Laurie need to earn their extensions because there's some great young athletes there.

I guess PNG is close enough to Qld to classify Bula as a Qld player. We know Bowraville is in Qld.
