kid needs a voice or he's never going to make first grade. Supremely talented, physically able, but apparently doesn't speak much on the field. Seen as a centre, put to fullback to find a voice and finally the wing for FG experience. Needs to speak or he wont get a shot with the other kids coming through. Big year for him.

not all the kids will make it - hope he does
 
If you ranked our best 6 outside backs (2-5) how would you rank them ??

And you can include Douehi if you don't see him playing 6 .....Junior showed early promise ...but he dropped much like the rest of the side

seems scared of contact. Coaching staff highlighted this last year, think if he gets this part of the game right he’ll be a gun

Won't include Doueihi as it seems almost certain he'll start the year at #6.

At this stage, I would personally rank them like this:

1. Nofoaluma
2. Maumalo
3. Kepaoa
4. Talau
5. To'a
6. Tupou

Would be close to the weakest group of outside backs in the comp (I haven't forgotten Staines or Naden either, I just don't rate them).

Hopefully we see some improvement this year, in at least a few of them.

Not having a voice hasn't stopped Brooks from a lifetime as the Wests Tigers' main man running the team etc blah blah blah! Sorry - it's late and I've stopped drinking. 🥛🤣🕺

Hahahaha, I think we have a really good group of players coming in, but we have to remember we were last in 2022.

Not going to be an immediate turnaround.

A good forward pack will help this group of outside backs showcase their talent better though, which is why I hold hope we'll see some improvement in some of them (while we remain patient for the likes of Tupou and Feledy to continue their development and eventually take places in the side).

Why?
Our backline, in whatever format they appear, are borderline Reggie’s level.
Our forwards are being rebuilt, but our backline will keep us out of the 8.
2025 is when this side will be ready to keep up with the front runners as long as the rebuild is backs focused this next offseason.

It was a bit of a joke Tucker. You would have to blind not to see that is our weekness in the squad.
And a lot of people can’t handle the truth hence the line about that honesty hurt a bit.
I am pretty sure @KingRobbie got it straight up.

Along with you not a fan of Toa .....but think Tupou is better than Toa .....when your failing at your 2nd club ......

Yeah, not a big fan of To'a.

I think Tupou has real potential to be a quality starter for us though, he's the youngest of that lot and although very raw at the moment, has game-breaking ability.

I don't think we've seen the best of Talau either (provided he's able to get back to full fitness).
