I’d love to know what Seyfarth does wrong. He has offered nothing all year, just isn’t at NRL level.
He regularly made 2-3 tackles on a row last night. He never misses a tackle and was on the field when the Raiders had most of the ball, so had little opportunity in good attacking field position.
His hit ups were strong without being spectacular, but he was also regularly a support runner, something most of our forwards do not offer.
He is a much better player than many other regular NRL bench players and is now approaching his prime.
The Warriors wanted him and I can assure you he will be picked up by a rival NRL club and will definitely be a regular in the NRL top 17 wherever he goes if we don’t keep him.
Anyone who watches much of the KOE Cup can clearly see Seyfarth, Blore and James are all in the top tier of fringe forwards across the NRL. They are all young enough to keep improving and are extremely valuable players on bottom end contracts.
