Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I agree but I feel like injuries are playing a factor, our team as a whole next year looks like this:

1. Jahreem Bula
2. David Nofoaluma
3. Stafford To’a
4. Adam Doeuihi (personal opinion)
5. Junior Tupou
6.
7.
8. Stefano Utoikmano
9. Api Korisau
10. David Klemmer
11. Isaiah Papalili
12. Shawn Blore
13. John Bateman

14. TDS
15. Alex Twal
16. Justin Matamua
17. Fonua Pole

Depth: Charlie Staines, Asu, Naden, Feledy, Atasi James, Rua, Simpkins, Christian Ma’anaimo (recall him having big wraps) and Saukuru

Our squad looks good, but there’s a reason I left out the 6 and 7 they’re the make or break for our club to do something productive and make a statement
Club is apparently shopping Blore and Nofo.

No guarantee AD returns - at all.

I'd be expecting a very different line-up come 2024.

Whether or not we are a realistic chance of bringing Hunt or another option to fill the large hole at WT, bottom line is that we wouldn't be able to if not for having allowed Joffa to leave.

Not sure why people think Hunt would come here…
He has the shits with how useless Saints are.
We are worse.
You would be silly not to think he’d rather retire than move from one dump to another.

There's a big chance Doueihi won't play the entirety of 2024; Sheens even said if he plays at any stage next year it's just a bonus.

Christian Ma'anaima will never, ever play NRL and can almost guarantee Saukuru (if it's Apisalome you're talking about) won't either.

If you can’t see the difference, then I suggest you take a trip to Spec Savers.

Then again, you think Brooks and Seyfarth are good players so I think that says it all about your ability to judge talent.
I know who needs Spec Savers.
It was clear tonight that a part time NRL player such as Tom Eisenhuth ran the ball and tackled like he was going to battle with a machine gun, John Bateman in comparison had an impact like he was going to battle with a water pistol.
I am not a sheep that just follows what others think.

Do we all realise Ben Hunt turns 34 in March 2024 ?
He’s had a great career, but his best games have been as a hooker for Qld, he’s had plenty of shockers as a halfback over the years.
Anyone who truly believes he’s worth over a million dollars per season as a 35 and 36 year halfback is off their heads.
Still miles better than Brooks as a half.

You do realise humans naturally slow down significantly particularly when into their 30’s, hence the reason the vast majority of players have retired by age 34.
Ben Hunt is no doubt a great competitor, but he’s main attribute has been his speed off the mark.
This time next year his speed off the mark will have diminished significantly.
Are you mixing him up with Brooks?
Hunt’s main attribute is he’s a genuine seven.

We should sign Fash from Hull FC in the super league. Looks like a nasty undersized average version of Rueben Cotter
