Da Silva no longer in the team for the game tonight. Maybe he will get some minutes off the bench tomorrow in Cup?

Our Flegg boys getting pumped tonight. 36 to 10 with 5 to go. Latu Fainu double for Manly (and assuming had some try assists). Hopefully out to impress his future employer!
Wow, that's appalling against the team that was coming last! But when they keep getting team selections and recruitment so wrong, what do they expect?
The starting pack was rubbish, starting backs largely rubbish.
Their spine had quality ours was average, makes a big difference.

Pretty sure Manly dropped back a few players from NSW Cup this week that havent played Flegg much this year. Still, our team should have been better than a 36 to 16 end scoreline. Feledy still managed to score his weekly try. Surely he moves up in the next week or 2 to have a shot in Cup.

Is Olive Lawry still at the club? Is so why is he not playing jersey flegg or better yet KOE.
Yeah he was injured for a while. Has been playing in the Sydney Shield Competition for the past month I think. I know Tannous is currently playing 6 in Flegg, but with Tallyn surely moving up I wonder if Tannous moves to 9 or 14. This would mean that Lawry could partner Matai in the halves to see what he can do.

Still no Jordan miller

Still no Jordan miller
Seems like Jordan Miller will be a slower integration into the squad than the others. Hasn't popped up since his debut (in which I felt he did well in limited minutes). Must be the club wanting another big pre-season for him before entertaining him playing much Flegg or Cup.

Great that Laulili'i and Fa'agutu appear to be getting a few consecutive games now, but will be disappointed if Herman Tofaeono stays outside the 17. Has been a real point of impact offensively in the games I have seen.

I don't understand why the club is wrapping him in cotton wool, unless he's injured. How is him playing zero footy good for his development??! If he was still at school, ok he's playing schoolboy comp. But an 18 year old training and only playing 10 games in a year is such as waste of time. It's not as if he's playing men, fair enough to hold him back from that. But as an elite 18 year old if he can't play flegg then he's got big problems. If there's a niggle or two, that's fine, just say so...

I suspect he has a weight problem, which is controlled by his head space and willingness to knuckle down and work hard. Just my thoughts as I had big hopes for him after Harold Mathews Cup.
Didn't look very fit for City v Country game; little game time and has disappeared since?

Every game he's played in, he's dominated. Or at least been very strong. If he was struggling in attack and/or defence then sure. But he's not.
