Lee is an embarrassment, honestly.

I was mostly interested in what Braith had to say, strangely. Very interested in his view on Fainu.
I agree with his statement on the Fainu’s.
They are spoken about with some sort of reverence. Undeservedly.
The prop is a decent player but got belted in the u19’s game.
The half is talented but also a bludger.

Maybe the gold is in what he hasn’t brought in. And the best is yet to come.

The plan was for Benji to have his squad in 2025 remember!

The plan was for Benji to be running in 25.
This was a step change year, next year was top 8 launchpad ready to run in 25. They were meant to keep building on a foundation.

At this stage he will be on another rebuild year built around rookies.

He has fine taste in hats. Should have worn a helmet for that car crash interview.

Apparently is is Justin’s job to wander around looking at options and then have the board decide everything

I have been critical of Lee H but I think he actually handled that pretty well given that they were all gunning for him - with good reason.
Confirmed what I expected with their position in relation to Brooks/IMoses negotiations and under the circumstances believe they made the right call in the best interests of the club.

Lets remember this club has been a Joke to the NRL for many years before LH,

Pascoe has overseen

Mick Potter >> Jason Taylor (Robbie Farah) > His 6 month Holiday for being unable to follow the rules or cheat without getting caught > Ivan Cleary ( Reynolds, Packer, Mbye etc) > Sacking Madge and now this garbage..

There's a bit there

Man the Wests Board are stupid

I will give him some credit, he fronted up, didn't run away and hide behind a staged podcast and met all the questions front on.

He has courage and I respect that.
I would say it was his idea and he spent days preparing for it.
His answers were supplied too quickly. It was like he was reading from a script. I’ve been grilled by multiple people at the same time before and it does get you flustered. It is designed to. That way we often see some raw truth leak out. Lee was pretty calm and measured. He had an immediate answer for everything, which is usually a very good sign of a classic bullshit artist. Braith and Read even said as much once the interview was done. Very polished and rehearsed.

I also thought it was a calculated move to keep blaming the board. It absolved he and Pascoe. Additionally, blaming the board gives us a faceless bad guy. Which members of the board in particular voted certain ways?

Lastly, I feel he let something slip at the end there… He said that Fulton’s job was to get the players signed who the coaches wanted. Therefore, within the Wests Tigers corporate structure, the Recruitment Manager is a direct report to the Head Coach, as we suspected. Now the narrative has been that certain player managers don’t trust Benji but do trust Fulton. Both have been in their jobs less than a year. That tells me that the player managers see Fulton as the weaker target and Benji is showing strength. That’s a good thing for the club, as like Lee stated, the coach has the final say. I think it is very possible that Fulton is the corrupt one, not Benji as Peter Peters tried to label him.

He said almost the same answers to Chammas in his SMH/9 interview. It sounded like he was well rehearsed for most of the questions likely to come his way.

Yeah no doubt.
Look Lee is a very good operator. He is smart, articulate, well presented and well prepared. My worry with him is that he is….too much so.
I would love to sit in on a board meeting. I bet Pascoe sits there saying nothing and Lee dominates conversation. I believe he likely runs rings around the rest of them and is very convincing in his arguments, often swaying votes with a well delivered speech.
I have no doubt he is being 100% truthful when he states the board made every decision. I also think his influence on individuals helped make their minds up on these critical decisions that have shaped our club over the past couple of years.

Well now you have to tell us why you were being grilled lol.

He is a very intelligent and fast thinker, I have been listening him on SEN for ages.

Agree with the answers or not, that's a different discussion. Credit where it is due.

WT Fans Take Note, For ages there have been no Leaks out of the Club and all of a sudden the Godfather Peter Peters is sharing stuff...
