This is good shit. Do you have an inside line to recruitment. They need to know thisHe's on around 250-300k. Warriors outbid a number of clubs to snare him. He's not on Wakeham money...

Curran is surplus? Wakeham is not? Damn who needs TV when we have all the buzz here. Is this info getting relayed to management?Curran is now surplus to the Warriors requirements.
As others have pointed out Metcalfe would now be after a substantial pay increase, I don’t think the Warriors could afford to give him much of an increase.
Edward Kosi and Viliami Vailea are both also surplus to their requirements, but would be a great addition to our backline.
Please stay away from Volkman he just stands and passes, he will not help us.
And i think there's buckleys chance that he would accept that. Maybe in 5-10 years time, but no chance it happens anytime soon. An 18 year old, egotisitcal queensland junior halfback, 185cm, isn't going to give up the money and prestige of playing in the halves so he can triple his tackle count every week. Heck Schuster still doesn't want to and he's a giant in comparison!Gould has already stated he'll be developed solely as a lock moving forward.

Yeah its fairly basic for an NRL half with the options available at the moment. Definitely second-string money there. I hope he is the one we are after I think he is better than Volkman but also probably more of a 6 than a 7.He's on around 250-300k. Warriors outbid a number of clubs to snare him. You heard it here first. Warriors are ripe for the picking in 2024. Whilst in 2023 - they be beating the door down to a premiership.Yeah its fairly basic for an NRL half with the options available at the moment. Definitely second-string money there. The Warriors next year will have SJ in the 7, then CHT, TMM and Metcalf all playing for that second spot. If he comes here he is guaranteed a starting position pretty much, and Sezer plays a very solid halfback game to let him run around and just be good. I can see why he would go for the offer.
Warriors are ripe for the picking next year with the players they have coming through and the ones coming back. Webster not likely to keep blokes in NZ who don't want to be there either, he's smart enough to know that only drags the rest of the team down.
Someone here will know. More than recruitment at the club does. God help us all.Anyone know how long De Silva is contracted for?

Not too many that fit that description unless you mean an Ex Balmain Tigers player.I meet a ex Tiger's player today through a guy I know who is alittle in the know at the Rooster the ex Tiger has won a title at the Rooster's very nice guy also has played origin I asked him about what's happening at the Tiger's he basically laugh in my face saying it's the people who run the that are the problem and has been for a number of years
Anyone know how long Da Silva is contracted for?
I agree but he doesn’t get in their top 17 at full strength.Curran isn’t surplus to them if they want to win.
Neither would Wakeham in their top 17. Whats the point here?I agree but he doesn’t get in their top 17 at full strength.
I’d take him in a heartbeat.

Sad old loser.Oh here you go again, you’re gunna run off at the mouth again coz you couldn’t come up with a come back 2 weeks ago when your best effort was to try and fat shame me?
You are the pot calling the kettle black. You are one of the biggest sooks on here and This all started coz I called you a sook and said you’d be unhappy if the lotto man rang with a win. Then you pretty much confirmed my suspicions and proceeded to carry on like a pork chop for a week at me, fat shaming me. You should be careful fat shaming people, mods should look into this, I could be mentally weak like you sucker and really took that to heart, or worse.
So your best effort today was to call me a sook (thanks for copying me it’s a form of flattery), coz I was saying Phil is just as see-through as anyone else wanting to win? You’re a funny bloke😁🤣😜🤣😁
Babble on sucker!
I hear you. Begars cant be choosers. ButWould take him also but only if some current squad members exit.
If he signs in January would you forgive him?Surely TMM would be the easier out of the bunch to pry back.
If I was management I would use an aggressive recruitment strategy’ haha, and target BOTH.
Either it’s release TMM early with the Warriors blessing so they can upgrade Metcalf or it’s allow Metcalfe to sign with Tigers in November and consider an early release.
Shut up u 2 pleaseSad old loser.
Act your age you imbecile.
Gus actually reiterated his comments from earlier in the year on 100% footy, that the Wests Tigers are not far off a good team despite results and ladder position, he said they are heading in the right direction
Gus gus gus - he is a bulldog. You think he's got our back? He be watching Bula, Pole, Stef, the guy with the afro hair and Kepoua.Throw away all the media talk and being honest our recruitment and retention last 12 months has been good. Api, Klemmer, Bateman, Papalli.
Wakeham, Naden, Smith not so good but lower end of the pay scale.
Kids coming through Pole, Bula, Tupou, Da Silva in the first grade side. There are a heap of good kids with potential Miller, Faagutu, Feledy, James, Galvin, Laulii etc.
The weaknesses in the roster have killed the Tigers no halves and a sub par backline. Also young players still growing and can’t sustain a full season.
If they recruit wisely and another two or three rookies come through like Bula, Pole etc you have a serious footy team.
We are run amateurishly however football pathways and recruitment have been good since Sheens/Marshall came in. Some was Madge and he played a part also even though everyone hammers him.
It’s not as bad as they make out but the issues are real and for the sake of the club they need to change the faces/management to breathe life into the joint.
